Deeplomatic Recordings EP#115 from Mystik Vybe includes two fresh original tracks 'Flux' and 'The Dark Runs'. 'Flux' features the unique vocals of Kieran Fowkes and is inspired by the deep sound of Berlin, with minimal percussions, a beautiful organic synth riff and a bouncy bassline. The second track 'The Dark Runs' falls in a gloomy area and is defined by the same style of music.

The EP is completed with a magnificent remix by the top producer Onur Ozman.

From where we started to where we wound up, it was a year of ups & downs for everyone. 

The guys discuss coming into the year booking more gigs than ever but as Covid began to affect our industry, The Get Down guys had to refocus their energies into areas they could control.  

Get Down University, The Get Down Podcast, Medium Blogs, GDU Slack Community & so much other content was born out of this crazy time. The ability to be malleable in such unsure times has helped the Get Down family grow larger & stronger than ever! 

We want to thank everyone who has shown support for everything we do over the last 10 months & we can’t wait to continue sharing endless content, knowledge & positivity over the next year!

The Get Down 27 - "Year In Review"

Long time House music champion Freestyle Man is the alter ego used by Berlin’s hero Sasse. 

Freestyle Man is known for his House roots and keeping his sound like the good old days… the sound that most house music tracks talk about to this day.

Opening track is ‘Hooper Street Groove,’ which is a deep house groover with subtle melodies and a tight bassline. Perfect to set the mood of the night.

Next is ‘Chordal Motion,’ which is a stripped-back and spaced-out voyage. As the track develops, dubbed-out rhythmic patterns and synth pads add depth and make this a perfect journey for your mind and your feet. 

Closing the package is the title track, which has funky rhythm and crisp drums, a perfect dancefloor-rolling groover that will for sure stay in your sets for a while.
