Following her first solo outing and years of experience as one half of the well-regarded Husky project, Ukrainian DJ and producer ALIIRA returns with a confident new step forward. 

Her Escucha EP on Zatar brings together two original tracks and two standout remixes, showcasing both her evolving solo voice and her deep roots in the club landscape.

The title track “Escucha” is a vibrant, punchy, electro-leaning house cut built around infectious vocal chops and crisp percussion. It’s a track that balances energy with clarity, direct and effective, but never overworked. 

Danish producer NILU (DK) and Zatar Labelhead Phonique take the reins on the remix, flipping the track into a more angular and urgent, sharp and edgy rework that leans into tension and groove, tailored for peak-time play.

The second track, “Devi”, dives into warmer, more hypnotic tech house territory. Its rolling rhythm and subtly layered melodies are joined by processed guitar textures, lending the track a slightly psychedelic edge without losing its forward drive. 

London based producer Urmet K strips down the track to its abosulte essentials to create a trippy, grooving house cut for the summer.

The Italian-born Berlin-based dj has recently been making serious waves in Berlin, offering a wide range of balearic, cosmic soundscapes touching listening-oriented selection styles or rather explosive dj sets. Very inspired by the rave scene of the early nineties, his sets make constant references to those atmospheres while offering an eclectic sound selection. Beginning to showcase his talent as resident of the infamous Cocktail d’Amore event series, he has recently reinforced his credibility - for example by handling the Cocktail d’Amore label management from which he recently stepped out, performing in Panorama Bar and regularly at lab.oratory for lab.dance nights, working closely with Phonica Records for the assortment of Soho House record store or hosting his own radio show MachineSex on Radio Cómeme. He is also promoting his Maximum Joy event series, happening at Sameheads in Berlin.

This week is really special to us as we have the privilege of sharing the airwaves with the show's first guest mix, coming from the British DJ duo and purveyors of fine music @trackwerk.

Trackwerk consists of Scott and Carl from the English city of Sheffield. They started DJing in the late 80s when house music exploded onto the UK scene and have been collecting and playing music ever since.
