Tel Aviv Based artist, Dj Split signs to the Paris based imprint label, Epicure Records and announces his debut EP which will be out July 14th, 2023.   

The 4-tracker perfectly showcases his unique approach to modern electronic dance music blending subtly genres from trance to house music.    

First track, Treelely, opens the ball with a full-throttle house banger with no shortage of interesting elements. Its drums and pumping bassline is topped with trancey and psychedelic reverbs FX. 

“Ness” is tireless and it grows darker and more powerful as the minutes pass by. Militant drums, battered electronics and lovingly drowned vocals hypnotically pulse and reverberate.

 Third track is a psychedelic cosmic adventure jangling percs, drums and fuzzed-out synths.

  Finally the last track is the perfect blend of psychedelic trance music and pure house melody that gets stuck in your head for a long time.

  With this EP Dj Split creates a rich spectrum of sound that takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions and genres.

A euphoric statement from Andre Zimmer, as the Big Trouble Records head unveils a four-track suite channelling the ecstatic essence of ‘90s rave culture.

Marking a high point in Zimmer’s catalogue, Saved My Life EP moves with widescreen intent — pianos soaring skyward, robust basslines locking into deep, progressive grooves. There’s a reverence here for classic house and trance tropes, but it’s filtered through a contemporary, analog-tinted lens. Korg-driven synthwork adds warmth and bite, grounding the release in tactile detail.

The tale of this disc that has been given the name “Flashbacks” come from two brothers from Uruguay, Nico and Fede Lampariello. The vast knowledge of musical production has been demonstrated, all within the true style of the underground. Produced with a Uruguayan flavor, putting that cherry on the top that we all know and love. With the musical flavor that the Lampariello’s have provided its essence can be felt through whole of the dark universe as its existing. It is an utmost pleasure to be welcoming these particularly talented siblings to the label with these four club-ready cuts, that has been pressed for the specific time when the action needs to be shown. The mechanical quantum gears of it have begun shifting and spinning rapidly for the unified idea of love for the nonstandard audio frequencies.
