I recently found an interview in which Bizzy Bone addressed this song, clarifying that the track's title is "Murda May" (as in the month of May), rather than "Murda Me", as it was affectionately known to fans.  Bizzy explained that this song was made during a time of turmoil with Tomica Wright and Ruthless Records.  The song is a dedication of sorts - to a season of revenge.

I made this song for Bizzy Bone.  I hope to give it to him one day with my sincerest "thank you" for some of my favorite music in the world.  Bizzy and Krayzie Bone remain two of my biggest influences in music.  Bone Thugs-n-Harmony made me proud to be from Cleveland.
