‘Big Boned’ is a raucous pounding track with The Twistettes signature growling, distorted bass and driving drums. It is smothered in satirical simplicity, poking holes at societies obsession with body image as well as the bigger picture concerning discussions about human value – all is connected. In a paradigm where women are expected to be smaller, quieter, take up less space - and heaven forbid any human be too loud, too fat, too weird, too flamboyant - this song asks, ‘Am I too much? Well, you can kiss my hole’.
