This is a very old song that I've been playing for awhile, used to play it with some good friends. When we played it, it was all electric post-rock style and very distorted. I kept all the notes the same but wanted to see if I could make a cleaner version of it and translate it into a complete different genre.

Breaking Hourglasses

So I'm almost done mixing a song that I've finished and I'm pretty excited about it, just needs a little bit of work and maybe a few more takes at improvising and it should be good. 

But it's been a while since I've been able to post some stuff, been busier with school started back up. I wanted to share a few little songs I've been working on in the meantime- I thought these might be interesting to hear or at least what some of my rough drafts sound like. 

Some of them will definitely be finished (probably "No Eulogies", "8/27/15", and maybe "Nara")- some of them probably won't be (As much as I love how "Heat Death of the Universe" is sounding it's honestly just a remix of "I'm God" by Clams Casino, but we'll see.) All of them are by no means finished and you might hear a few placeholder beats/rough mixes here and there, some don't even have names yet- I'll probably end up taking down this whole "Sketches" post myself at some point but I'll leave this up for download for now.

Just been messing around with a new track, this will probably sound completely different when I'm down but it's been awhile and I wanted to put something out. The solo was improvised and done in one take, I have 4 others to choose from and might record a few more.  Still experimenting with the Jazzmaster recording, the sound is a little rough for my taste but we'll see how it turns out in the end.
