Underground Audio's rich vein of form has seen the British label emerge as a much vaunted and respected medium for contemporary house music. One such individual who knows a thing or two about producing said gems is Greek native Dimi Wilson, who crops up with the goods here in emphatic fashion courtesy of his return to the UA fold, the brilliant 'My Name is Flager.

Wilson has also turned out on seminal labels a la Dogmatik, Savoir Fair, Elite and Something Different, but it's on this EP where he arguably serves up his finest moments to date, with his two originals, ''My Name is Flager'' and the odd but curiously named ''Everything We Do is Balloon'' sure to earn him the plaudits he deserves. The title-number is a rambunctious tech-house track that's imbued with steely synths and a ghetto drawl that brings an extra dose of attitude to the table.

''Everything We Do is Balloon'' makes more smart use of an engaging vocal and a sprightly bassline, before Milton Keynes producer Jamie Trench adds a well-polished level of suspense with his interpretation. In all, an outing that emphasises the burgeoning reputation of all involved.

John Tejada does not really need any introduction - he is simply a phenomenon. 
Starting with his first releases in the mid nineties, he has been constantly expanding on his massive catalogue of singles, remixes and albums released on well known US and European Techno, House and Electronic Music labels and there seems to be no end in sight. In addition to his output on prestigious labels such as Playhouse, Plug Research, deFocus, Moods and Grooves, 7th City, Kompakt, and others he has also been running his own Palette Recordings imprint since 1996. 
John Tejada´s ep for Slices Of LIfe make reference to his earlier releases that were beloved by DJ´s for their driving energy and an occasional wink of humor. The three tracks on "Times LIke This" combine a musical glance back to earlier times, while showcasing Tejada´s high level production skills of today: A Slice from the past without being nostalgic.
