Dj Eks was born in Switzerland in 1975.
In 1980, and thanks to his older brother, he discovered the world of music, with groups like The Cure, Depeche Mode, Souxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus and others.
Towards the end of the eighties and the beginning of the nineties, his other brother often traveled to London where he took part in raves.  Dj Eks went to his first rave in 1992 and then discovered the world of clubbing. In 1993, following a car accident, he dived into mixing and bought his first pair of Technics SL1200 turntables.
He started to play hardcore and gabber, then fell into acid techno and a range of other genres he still loved.
Nowadays, he mostly plays industrial techno, acid, acidcore, tribe, rave, techno and dark techno.

Johnny Piras is an Italian DJ producer based in London (UK)
He has been constantly be in the world of electronic music since he was a teenager. His style is always in constant development, and his hard and industrial sound characterizes his production and dj sets.
His music is inspired by different musical genres, and many different backgrounds, which together give life to a style full of industrial sounds, distorted synths, and hypnotizing percussions. In addition to being a DJ producer, he is also owner and founder of the label Tholos Records, co-founder of Divine Intervention Records and resident at Expel Your Demons.

Djonah Laforge has been a part of the belgian Techno scene for a very long time, but somehow always stayed under the radar. Recently, his productions took a turn to the darker, industrial side, and that's when our paths crossed. So, after his teaser on the 14th compilation, here's the first of what hopefully will be many EPs. 

Opening track 'Carnivor' is best described as bone dry, filthy, distorted Techno. Due to the buildup, it's ideal to start a set, at least if you want to deliver a message that you don't plan on taking any hostages. Brutal, flesh eating hunter mayhem. 
Aptly called 'Deeper', the second track takes things... well... deeper. Embedded in a huge layer of distortion and white noise, this postpunk acid industrial track shoots of in all directions really. Disturbing stuff to put it mildly. 
If you thought 'My Way' was a Frank Sinatra rework, guess again. A voice sample and a bare and dark skeleton of a track, with nothing but nasty beats that rip your heart out of your chest, not giving you the slightest hope of survival. Djonah definitely makes his intentions crystal clear with this track. 
The gran finale is more of that: Filth. Dirt. Distortion. Noise. Industrial amounts of it. Pour it on me. 

What can I say. March looks dark and Djonah Laforge just provided the soundtrack to the apocalyps that will get us all. Join us.

MOTZ Premiere: Djonah Laforge - Carnivor [Coincidence.132]

DBS started producing their own tracks at the age of 16. After trying out several sub-genres of electronic dance music, including drum and bass, dubstep and house, in 2015 he started to focus on minimalistic techno beats which he started playing himself with a Hercules DJ controller. DJing as a hobby quickly turned into a passion for life. In 2018 he became interested in harder techno and started his first recordings with his DDJ-SB2. From industrial techno to hard techno to acid techno, his music fills a wide spectrum of different genres. Today he produces techno tracks and sets in all its variations, every set and every track is unique and reflects his love for techno music. Meanwhile, the Berlin label Underground Records is helping him to bring his music to the masses by releasing his productions on their Soundcloud channel.
