Unsound Mind(part 1 & 2 live)

The Unsound Mind is a music project based in Athens.
The band was formed in 2014 by Nero J who started working on
original material as a solo performer. Being involved in music
groups mainly of the jazz genre, he created compositions which
were gradually led to an instrumental form.
In 2016 the double bassist Jx2mas joined the project and
together they took over the arrangements. Up until 2018 they
were active as a duo.
At that point their musical quests and experimental character
guided them to Bitman, a renowned beatboxer in the Greek hip
hop community, who joined the band, and thus shaped their
current sound.
Since 2019 they perform as a trio.
Their electro-acoustic, instrumental sound incorporates
elements of ambient, trip hop, jazz and post rock. They create
atmospheric music with cinematic references and a strong
element of dark psychedelia.
The band has performed in various music scenes, festivals,
theatres, etc. Sofar Athens, KET Experimental Music Festival,
National Theatre, Faust and St Paul Sessions 4 to name a few.
