Flutes dance like birdsong through dense canopies, while slow and crisp electronic beats pulse beneath, creating a vibrant interplay of organic warmth and futuristic precision. It’s a sound both ancient and modern, alive with curiosity and wonder.
As the piece unfolds, the mood shifts—like sunlight breaking through clouds—and reveals its deeper, more nostalgic layers. The melodies soften, tugging at your heartstrings with every note. A poignant melody motif weaves through lush synths, evoking memories long buried yet achingly familiar and by gently opening your heart, it dissolves barriers and leaves space for reflection, connection, and raw vulnerability.

A project unlike any other comes to Desert Trax this fall. Between 2009 and 2012, psychedelic bass producer Twin Shape created but left unfinished three songs that tied him inextricably to a certain time and place. As the years went on, these pieces remained rough and untouched, until he sought the help of three fellow producers to help him complete these songs.
The result is the 'Auxiliatus' EP. From the Latin to support, Alterra, Shwamp , and COAM stepped in to give Twin Shape distance, perspective, and help to revisit these original creations and give them a contemporary feel on Seeded, D&N and Glimpse, respectively. Three tightly wound compositions that have spanned nearly a decade since their inception now come to life with throbbing low end and alien implications. A strong recommendation for fans of Bird of Prey, Phutureprimitive, and Ott.

Standout Desert Trax contributor Key-G steps in for a remix of the Alterra collab, Seeded, to round out this 4-track set. The Auxiliatus EP is finally available September 13th.

These two songs were created thanks to new connections born during the past year.
The first step was possible thanks to Shwaya Sound System, the second one thanks to another large family called Fusion Culture, both based in Tel Aviv.
From this network of relationships was born the connection with Gabriel Kimchi aka @aborigiman-project, mindblowing didjeridoo player, teacher and maker, founder of @treeboga with Roy Brosh.


I am grateful for these  moments, the world of connections that surrounds us, our common roots, our shared universal language: MUSIC.
