After winning Minnesota's "Stardust" remix competition last year, Perkulat0r has worked his way into the Gravitas Recordings family. The producer out of BC netted himself a full-fledged release of Transcension, his debut album, slated for a March 25th drop date. Full of smooth, sexy glitch-hop, the Canadian artist has crafted a sound that balances contemporary production techniques with a strong footing in a traditional glitch-hop aesthetic. The result is a modern twist on a fundamentally strong bass music foundation. Today's premiere is a collab with young Arkansan WET PAiNT, who has enjoyed great success in a relatively short career, as well.  Our next compilation tune comes from super talented Santa Cruz-based producer G Jones.
known for his unconventional and unique take on experimental future bass/hip hop beats as well as his energetic and vibrant live sets,  G Jones has made quite the name for himself. Since his 2012 LP "Mirage" on the like-minded forward-thinking label Saturate, G Jones has been nonstop touring, releasing EPs, collaborations and remixes all while single-handedly redefining the west coast bass sound. His tune "Terminal 3" is a more melodic and dreamy take on his style. It maintains the G Jones swagger while seamlessly fitting the stylized, harmonic mood of Foundations Recordings.
