"Henry VIII was a very greedy man. He raised the taxes so he got more money and so that people were so poor they couldn't afford to dress nicely, as for they couldn't become famous. He dressed in armour with diamonds and jewels  all over so that everyone knew he was king because everyone else was too poor to afford jewels. Henry VIII died in 1518.



Henry VIII was very musical, some people say he composed green sleeves. Henry didn't think about anyone except himself, as you will find out in the wives section.  As you can see he is very posh. Those are real diamonds on his clothes, and he wears the same sort every day. Henry VIII was born on 28 June 1491.

Henry's father, Henry VII was just as rich as his son, but he didn't take things so seriously. After he died, he passed on his soldiers to his son. Henry VIII did not give any money to the poor. Hardly any kings did that, In fact none did that at all."
