Vor vier Jahren schrieb ich mit „The Last Beluga Whale“ einen für mich sehr wichtigen Song, mit dem ich aufrütteln wollte. Seitdem ist das Engagement für Umwelt, für unsere Zukunft allgemein leider spürbar eingebrochen. Auch wenn es in der medialen Wahrnehmung in den Hintergrund getreten ist: Die Lebensräume vieler Arten sind mehr denn je bedroht. Populationen schrumpfen gewaltig. Höchste Zeit zu handeln. Deswegen wiederhole ich heute noch einmal meinen Appell: Mache mit und setze dem Klimawandel und Artensterben Dein Engagement entgegen. Nehme nicht so einfach hin, dass wir das Leben vieler Geschöpfe unserem Gott des Wachstums opfern. Wir können etwas verändern, wir müssen etwas ändern. Mir liegt etwas daran, dass die sogenannte „letzte Generation“ nicht die „letzte Generation“ wird. Und Dir und Euch geht es nicht anders. Davon bin ich überzeugt. – Alles Liebe, Gert Holle. Four years ago, I wrote “The Last Beluga Whale,” a song that was very important to me and with which I wanted to shake people up. Since then, commitment to the environment and to our future in general has unfortunately declined noticeably. Even though it has faded into the background in media coverage, the habitats of many species are more threatened than ever. Populations are shrinking dramatically. It is high time to act. That is why I am repeating my appeal today: join in and counter climate change and species extinction with your commitment. Don't just accept that we are sacrificing the lives of many creatures to our god of growth. We can make a difference, we must make a difference. It is important to me that the so-called “last generation” does not become the “last generation.” And I am convinced that you feel the same way. – All the best, Gert Holle. We take care of ourselves,
ignoring the changes in the world.

growth is our God in daily life.

The last beluga whale
plows through the plastic-strewn sea.
We do not want to see:
We are living beyond the means.
That’s what we learned,
growth is our God in daily life.

 آهنگساز فیلم «جدایی نادر از سیمین» گفت: موسیقی در این فیلم فقط برای سکانس پایانی و تنها با ساز پیانو و چند ساز زهی ساخته شد تا مهر تاییدی بر روایت زندگی روزمره باشد. 

ستار اورکی  ضمن بیان این مطلب در خصوص کم و کیف ساخت موسیقی فیلم «جدایی نادر از سیمین بگفت: اصغر فرهادی قصه خود را به خوبی می‌شناخت و معتقد بود که به دلیل روایت دقیق داستان، وجود موسیقی از ابتدای فیلم نیاز نیست چراکه داستان به گونه‌ای است که آهنگ زندگی و یک تصمیم برای ماندن و یا رفتن را در بردارد. 

وی در ادامه افزود: من هم با نگاه فرهادی موافق بودم و معتقد هستم که نظر این کارگردان درباره کم و کیف حضور موسیقی در این فیلم به جا است به همین دلیل طی جلسات بسیاری که با محمدرضا دلپاک و فرهادی داشتیم به این نتیجه رسیدیم که موسیقی در این فیلم فقط در سکانس پایان فیلم و تیتراژ نهایی مورد استفاده قرار گیرد به همین دلیل رنگ مایه موسیقایی فیلم از صدای پیانو بهره برد. 

این آهنگساز در پاسخ به این سئوال که چرا ساز پیانو را به عنوان ساز اصلی درنظر گرفته است گفت: تصمیم برای استفاده از این سازبه عنوان ساز مادر از لابلای تصاویر فیلم بیرون آمد به این معنا که در طول فیلم یک سکانس وجود دارد که کارگردان مشغول بالا بردن ساز پیانو هستند در واقع این سکانس به این دلیل نشان داده شد که پیانو در عین حال قدرتمند به نظر می‌رسد بسیار شکننده و حساس نیز هست و فرهادی نیز بر این نکته تاکید بسیار داشت که نمایش این ساز حکایت تلویحی از فیلم است و از من خواست که صدای پیانو در موسیقی این فیلم به کار برود و من هم طبق نظر ایشان کار کردم و در‌‌نهایت متوجه شدم که استفاده از این ساز هوشمندی ویژه‌ای از سوی فرهادی بود؛ البته ناگفته نماند که اصغر فرهادی هنر موسیقی و رنگ موسیقایی فیلمی که می‌سازد را به خوبی می‌شناسد.
