Let Yourself Go

Three individuals from three continents met in Berlin 3 years ago to start a new thing. With a unique instrumentation, two saxophones and one DJ, the Honkers strive to grab any public's attention with a colorful show and original energetic music. With a growing reputation as a live band, they started to play stages in Europe and across the globe from New York to Tel Aviv. Two years after they first album and the success of their hit song Gingerbread Man They are now presenting their 2nd full-length album Superskrunk.

The first thing that will strike at the first listen is the wide range of colors in this album. It is a mirror of the live show and the result of 2 years of touring across Europe. The band has gained a reputation in the electro swing community but one quickly finds out that there is a lot more to the Dirty Honkers than electro swing. Superskrunk refines the essence of the Dirty Honkers with a much stronger electro edge well broadening their already big band arrangements and adding a new rock’n’roll attitude.
