MAWADa and Safa converse via distance through an electro-acoustic, rhythmic and cacophonous collage to experiment on the potential interactions between a range of traditional sounds—from North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula—and Contemporary electronics. This mix is a collaborative effort in its entirety where each artist created a bed of traditional music and sent it out to their counterpart to overlay it with electronic music.
