With every guest that gets invited onto the series, I'm always aiming to bring on people who I've had a genuine connection with. For the last 3 years, I was helping manage the Underground Sessions Radio, which is where I had the pleasure of meeting Heat Alliance (digitally). Not only are they producing quality house music, but they're out supporting others in the scene who are doing the same. A truly selfless approach to music, which really resonates with me.

Although I'm extremely fond of Danielle, and Oscar, their music is the main reasoning behind the invite. Always selecting quality and producing top class house tunes; simple and plain. This mix is a showcase of their preferences that span across multiple genres, but a heavy focus on the house end of the spectrum. Starting with some jungle even!

Selected Timbres 018: Heat Alliance

In Italo House Aficionados Part 8 we are going back to the warm & sexy Italian House & Garage sound of the early 90s.
As usual I made a selection of known and unknown tracks, including some rarities like Check The Mind, Deseo and Cassandra Project. A special mention goes out to Daniele 'Shield' Contrini. He managed to track down and license the unreleased Leopardo Boom Boom Remix of E.V.O.E.'s "I Don't Wanna Give Up Your Love" for the "Ciao Italia" (vinyl) compilations on Rebirth Records. This track was on top of my wantlist for many years, and one of the last missing pieces of my Italian House Collection. So this one's very special to me.
For the first time a two hour session, featuring Mr. Marvin, Fuser Beat, Nikita Warren, Alex Lee, Free Force, Sueño Latino, Maurizio Pavesi and more.

The Verticals - Pure Essence (2004)

For the Love of New York Underground House. 

The Verticals is a project originated by Thomas Werres and Marcel Soyer back in the early 2000´s. Both adoration for House music led into cooperation of producing tracks, djing and friendship. Both grew up in very musical and artistic families. So it was only a natural progression for them to become interested in production.

The sound of The Verticals is rooted in the early 90´s and mainly influenced by soulful House (New York Garage). Partially breaked out into RAW and hypnotic dj-sets without loosing soul.

Although New York Garage House lost popularity in the 2000´s, The Verticals never strayed from their roots. The long past has even deepen their enthusiasm for the golden era of House music with every day more and more...

In the middle of 2018 The Verticals released a Sample Package "New York Underground House Beats". Drum loops, multikits and drum samples enable creative producers and DJs to breath the flair of the ’90s New York House scene into their music productions:
