11 The Perfect Kiss

Medicated Demons

"Blue Hallway" is the addictive, high-energy soundtrack for all the nervous energy and quiet moments before a late-night rendezvous. Driven by a catchy stomp and clap rhythm and sparkling synth garnish, this Alt-Pop anthem locks the listener into the hyper-aware world of apartment waiting: counting the quiet like loose change, and letting the radiator tick the metronome. The male tenor and female mezzo trade witty verses filled with brat vibes and playful tension ("If waiting is a little crime, I’ll serve it gladly"). The chantable Chorus is a perfect declaration of intent: "Blue hallway—hold the door, two hearts, nothing more." This track is all about the electrifying power of what is not said, leaving one strip of light on for that perfect, inevitable moment.

More like "Heart of BITS"... eh? ehhh??

Made through Famitracker using the VRC6 module in probably less than 12 hours. I actually started working on this a month or so ago, but I just sort of gave up on it after like 5 minutes. Today I ran into it again on my laptop and decided "eh... why not?" so I cranked the rest of it out throughout the course of today. Blondie has to be one of my favorite early new wave bands alongside The Police, so this was a fun one to work on. Hope you all enjoy it!
