The Warm Hair....This track, entitled "(I Don't Really Wanna Say)Goodbye Again" is off of the previously unreleased 2006 Lp "Hello...Sadness", which is set for March 2012 release. Some have expressed that it is The Freebird's finest production work so far, with the help of the earth shattering skin smacking of Dan Crowell and the lost weekend bass bashing of the great studio giant Billy Filo/B-Murph. When asked recently about the "Hello...Sadness" sessions, Mr. Von Clauts(As the Freebird know lives in hiding with the name inside mailbox baseball suburbia) sadly responded, "I was sick with empty insides, without sleep and drenched with the drinks of sadness. I remember writing this entire lp in a matter of days(16 songs in all) and how it spoke of the saga of lost love and heartbreaking days bleeding into the next. Minutes went by like hours and hours went by like days. I wrote this sitting on my bed in complete darkness and I feel the song speaks for its self.I was just exhausted from having to say goodbye again to the one I felt was my everything. But hey, why should she ever care right? Now she has him to hold her close and tight...". With that said, let us loudly call out the mantra of musical self-destruction...2000'n'Bird!!!

Ironically, just when you think that the downer couldn't get any worse, it continued to get better. When Dan Crowell was asked what he could remember from the drunken living room one take sessions, Dan replied, "Right when I asked The 'Bird, 'Hey man, you sure this ain't too slow', The 'Bird squawks back from a mouth dripping with beer foam, 'Just when you think it's going too slow...player SLOWER!". I suppose it was for the pain of missing someone so much to be musically understood and hurtfully felt. Ain't that right 'Bird???

The Warm Hair...yet another track of the soon to not be unreleased Hello...Sadness Lp, this is The Freebird falling apart at the seems through the speakers of your stereo or the headphones pushed against your head. Again recorded during a tearfully lost weekend with the Crowell brothers, Dan on the kit as always, "I Really Feel Like Crying" is an intricate cry for help to forget the memories rotting The Freebird's lonely mind. Although the lyrics are far from being an image of cleanliness, they are from the life and broken heart of The 'Bird. Hello..Sadness is to be completed finally in February 2013 long after its 2006 creation. Here come the warm tears of hair...2000'n'Bird!!!

The Warm Hair..."I'm Sorry Baby If I Came On So Strong" was of a recently found Lp entitled Chateau Un Nicollini. The backing track was recorded with a single floor microphone as Juicy John Pink(Johnny Nicollini) bashed away on his then newly bought, but soon sold, Slingerland drum set. Juicy John was The Warm Hair's first drummer but recorded a wealth of Lps with the band including some of The Freebird's most well known. The 'Bird remembers, "That guitar was cranked to the high heavens of hell!". Chateau Un Nicollini looks like it will see beyond the barriers of Mastic-Shirely by the Summer of 2012....Screaming 2000'n'Bird!!!

The Warm Hair...This track, "I know You've Been Unhappy Lately", is a saddening cry for a love that slowly decayed in the daily presence of The 'Bird. Off of the unreleased Reserection LP(Double meaning hidden in there), it is one of The Freebird's most naked recordings that exist. The 'Bird adds, "I remember writing this and recording this literally whispering as this chick I was with was like...what are you doing in there? What was that melody it was beautiful. I just did not respond at all. Thanks though baby wherever you are....". Few songs are out there that place the blame on one's self and not pointing the finger in any opposite direction. Screaming...2000 'n' Bird!
