This is THE WHITE ARROW - the singles

At a certain point in our lives we are asked to look at our story from a distance with the eye of the condor. Overlook your life high in the sky, without judgment, just behold as you are carried by wings of light. An icaro to realize the story that shaped us, a time to wake up and clear our view.
A song that awakens our visionary qualities. It invites us to see the truth without judgment. We gain ac-cess to our authenticity and are open to a clear look. Like the condor, high in the sky (the spirit of the sky), we are one of our inner spirit. Creative power manifested by clear intentions. Having a vision (focus) is needed to focus all your energy and make that vision come true. As a condor that rises above all else, you oversee your path without judgment and keep your focus on that which requires attention.

Volando com el condor – flying with the condor
Tan alto, tan alto, tan alto – so high, so high, so high
Atenda l’universo – inhabit the universe
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz (x3) – with wings of light
So spread your wings and fly away
Tan alto, tan alto, tan alto – so high, so high, so high
..Oo, Atenda l’universo – inhabit the universe
You fly so high, so high in the sky
Fly away
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz – with wings of light
So fly so high, fly away
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz, fly – with wings of light
So fly in the sky, so fly in the sky
l’universo – inhabit the universe
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz – with wings of light
With your wings of love and light
so fly high
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz – with wings of light
Fly, fly child – vlieg, vlieg mijn kind
Con alas de luz, con alas de luz – with wings of light

We Are Home

This is the 3rd song from the 'Hovering the Realsm'-album. You can support us best by buying the album on our bandcamp page: https://thewhitearrow.bandcamp.com/
This is a soundscape album for ceremonial meditation and shamanic traveling. It holds 2 long tracks for astral traveling. We close the album with this track to evoke the spirit of the Tobacco with a Limpja (cleansing) and a Soplado (blessing) of our body. Sounds of blowing smoke and sucking out heavy energy, blowing Aqua de Florida around in space, a strong Soplado and Limpia to cleanse your aura and ground your body to end your 'Hovering of the Realms ceremony' . The Tobacco is one of the most important healers and plant guides in "curanderismo" shamanism around the world. You can find the Tobacco in all cultures. Tobacco is an important guide, especially in spiritual, energetic work. This plant brings us FOCUS, it keeps us "here" and "now". It is important not to float and get stuck in the clouds. Tobacco brings you back, deep down into your body. For the curandero in the rainforest it is also a guide to come into contact with other plants. It is also a protector to always have with you when entering the rainforest, to use as a "sacrifice", or to blow smoke over a plant or tree in communication with this spirit. In this song we sing about the beauty of this plant by honoring its flowers.

Calling the plants

Calling The Plants (Hovering The Realms)

This famous icaro by Rosa Giove can be found in countless versions on the Internet. Rosa works at the Takiwasi centre in Tarapoto, Peru. This centre works with people who suffer from addictions and uses master plants for this purpose. The founder of the center, Dr. Jacques Mabit was also a student of our Maestro Juan Flores. Rosa Giove gave us permission to use the text of her icaro and make our own version of it. This song came to us for the first time through Ema'a Drolma Mata. "It was the first icaro I (Juanita) learned from her in 2004, she opened the voice of my heart". May this song bring sunshine and hapy sparcks into your life.

Ábrete Corazón

This song was created while learning the Shipibo language. The Shipibo-Conibo are an indigenous people living along the banks of the Ucayali River in the rainforest of Peru. They are true masters when it comes to working with the sacred plants and are known for their beautiful special icaro's and the world-famous woven motifs on canvases and painted on pottery. The song calls for you to open the visions that will guide you deeper inside, to the place beyond judgments and thoughts, to the centre of the universe, deep within you. Many of the icaro's are suggestive, because you are the centre of the universe and experi-ence everything from there. They are often sung in the 'here and now' what you are experiencing or what is happening at that time. The voice of the Maestro who sings is like your own voice speaking to yourself.

Cano Abanon

This is a song from our latest album 'El Camoino Dorado' An album we've been working on for the latst two years. 23 songs (icaros, accoustic songs, dreamscapes, dance songs...a lot of genres) You can buy the album in our Shopify shop because it won't be released fully on the streaming services, just a single once in a while: https://the-white-arrow.myshopify.com/

About the song:
Juanita: ‘I wrote this song on the guitar, from a deep sense of being stuck in ancestral patterns of thinking and relationships. Breaking out of a world of ‘what does the other expect from me?’ The liberation of my voice. I started feeling more from the heart rather than the head. Acknowledging my own strength and medicine!’
We transformed this song for this album into a soft danceable mood that opens up the spheres.

And that invites you to go on a journey, fly out and free yourself.

We've made a video with samples of the new album on our Youtube page: https://youtu.be/Pj-XndMrWxI?feature=shared

El Camino Dorado

Free Me

This mantra is the opening track of our last double album 'El Camino Dorado', just as it opens our own hearts to deeper listening. The song is a combination of two mantras: the Heart Sutra (Teyata Om, Gate Gate) and Om Tare Tutare (Green Tara mantra). The Heart mantra opens heart connections and so much more. There is a deep, mystical wisdom in this prayer. It was once written in Vedic Sanskrit and takes away all suffering when you recite it 108 times. This song helps us to be generous, patient, conscientious, diligent, focused and wise. With this mantra you honor your inner light that helps you cross the border from suffering to liberation, from suffering and from duality to unity.
The mantra guides us beyond the misleading perception of the Self as something separate, and helps us realize that we are perfect, connected to all life and that we are at home in the universe. The message of this mantra is that infinity is here and now. Emptiness is all all-encompassing. This is the great liberation, because the ideas of the mind we live in keep us trapped in our self self-created illusions. When we can clean ourselves of our own limiting ideas, we can live in the pure dimension of emptiness, completely free and beyond limitation. This mantra makes us feel that everything and everyone is connected.
The key word is BODHI, a feminine noun in the vocative, which means awakening. PARAGATE means 'gone to the further shore'. The word PARA means the bank of a river opposite which one is currently standing. PARASAMGATE means gone completely to the other further shore. The prefix SAM has an intensive meaning: complete, thorough, total. SVAHA or SWAAHA is an inflexible particle from Vedic Sanskrit. It is said to be the name of the wife of Agni, the god of fire. It is used at the end of a recitation that accompanies a burnt offering made at a Vedic sacrifice (rather as "amen" is used at the end of a prayer in the Christian liturgy). It cannot be translated literally.
The second part of the mantra (Om Tare Tutare) is a prayer to the goddess Tara, who epresents mercy and compassion. She is the divine mother and universal feminine energy. She is able to guide you to enlightenment. In Buddhism, Tara is a feminine manifestation of enlightening wisdom. There are 21 different forms, all called Tara in all colors of rainbows, each with their own specific meaning. In some cultures, including Tibetan, green is considered the color that encompasses all other colors. This is the mantra of the Green Tara, the mother of the Buddhas. She helps us to overcome our fears, takes away suffering and brings happiness.
We often sang these mantras with our first Maestra Ema'a Drolma Mata. For this album we gave it our owntimbre and melody, as a gentle blessing and opening to listening to the rest of the album.

Heart mantra (Teyata Om)

Free me is a song we previously released from our last double album 'el camino dorado'. This is a remix version of the song made by Somko (formaly Arkay Koo). The song sings about setting yourself free from all the struggels in life, and doing it by dancing, singing, breathing and honouring life as it is.

This song is a single from our album 'El Camino Dorado' we released in 2024. The album has over 20 new medicine songs.

Marijn:
This medicine song came to me along with the song Machipuro Tabacito, Tabacito,’ after my dieta in Peru with plantteacher Ishpingo ’ in 2022. This was the first time Juanita and I were together in Mayantuyacu. It was a very special journey filled with healing for our relationship. Ishpingo is a plant medicine that works strongly on the respiratory system and brings much wisdom for the curandero in the use of the voice and breathing. This song is a hymn to the colorful spirit of the Chacruna. She brings light to the visions and dances with the

We interpreted this icaro, taught by Maestro Juan Flores, in our own unique way. The result is a soft and soothing Huarmi Icaro—songs meant to warm our hearts and connect us to our inner gentleness. We performed this live version alongside Johannes Siemann during the Valentine's Heartbeat earlier this year, a special event from which many songs made it onto our live CD (Heartbeat).

The creator's house... where is it? For us, it is our own spirit. And where can that spirit be found? In your body, your heart, your whole being... everywhere. It’s about breaking free from everything that traps us in the illusion of existence. It’s about awakening to a new field of perception, diving into the profound lessons of Mother Nature... La Casa del Señor. Enjoy!

La casa del Señor (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

Limpia Corazón means 'cleaning the heart'. In shamanic ceremonies this is often done with Agua de Florida, a flower bath or, in this case, a cleansing and soothing icaro. This icaro sings about the Holy Family and the Sacred Ceremonies. Use this song to connect with the healing and cleansing powers of the plants of the rainforest and the supportive energy of the sacred family. Let them clear your energy field step by step and open your heart further. Unleash your heart by allowing love and friendship in all forms beyond assumptions and (self) judgment. You are loved.

Limpia corazón

Juanita: "The Inner Fire women’s work I create together with my fire-sister Lise, forms the heart of this song, revealing the natural flow that emerges in the act of creation. Our voices merge effortlessly with the magical tones of Johannes’s hang, slowing us down and letting us feel what longs to be sung. Without preparation, the words find their place among the sounds. This exchange reminds us of the power within, inviting us to dive deep into ourselves—the child we once were, beyond the story, the pure love we are at our core, breathing in and out, releasing and allowing. When the song is ready to open, Marijn joins on guitar, and together we flow into a rich co-creation of the moment. By blending our strengths and talents, we lift the energy—together."

‘I fall so deep’ is an improvisational song between Lise and Juanita, with Johannes and Marijn providing musical support, created at a ‘Heartbeat cacao dance ceremony’ 3 years ago.

I fall so deep (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

Juanita wrote this song from a deeper feeling within herself ’, as an ode to the moon and contact with her sisters. How does she experience the moon and her moon sisters? Where does that power come from? The song was spontaneously written for her first sister moon blessings ’ ceremony and specially dedicated to the sisterhood ’ that formed after years of working together in trust. In this song, the moon bears the name Sister Moon ’ and is a tribute to the primal feminine ’, the dance between the Moon, the Sun and the Earth.

Sister Moon blessings

This icaro came to life spontaneously during a Heartbeat cacao ceremony, at that magical point when, after an intense dance set, everyone relaxes, lies back, and lets the music soak into every cell. In that moment, the icaro was born to call on the spirits for clear, beautiful visions—visions that lift us up, carry us forward, fill us with warmth, and give us the courage and trust to keep going. Enjoy the vibrations . The complete Heartbeat album can be found on our Bandcamp page: https://thewhitearrow.bandcamp.com/

Icaros de la selva (vol2)

ICARO FOR OPENING VISIONS (LIVE AT HEARTBEAT CEREMONY)

Icaro for opening visions (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

This medicine song features a combination of two icaros we learnt from Juan Flores in Mayantuyacu (Peru).
Marijn: The icaro Aquafloridante is an icaro by the late Mauro, a curandero who, at the time of my first visits to Mayantuyacu, was in training with Maestro Flores. This icaro entered me and brought me the power of gentleness that vibrated so strongly, this opened a whole new level in me. Thank you Mauro for your profound loving precision. This song is a tribute to your beautiful work, we let your energy live on through this song.
The second part of the song is an icaro that Juan Flores taught me. He, like so many South American curanderos have expanded their allies from nature, with spirits from other cultures, such as Christianity. You can sense the Lord in many ways, it can very literally be Jesus Christ, but with the help of the plants, you can feel a little deeper under human forms. The Lord actually stands for Great Spirit ’, or the great Creator of the universe, the immeasurable energy of creation and destruction. Creative power in its highest form. The logic and cosmic correctness of the dance between the smallest particle of dust and the largest celestial bodies.... Everything is connected in the web of creation and when you quiet your mind and start feeling, yousee it. Everyone sees it. Because everyone is part of it. ‘

Em Camino Dorado

La venida del Señor

As always, we are excited to release another live track from our Heartbeat Live album. This piece is a live Icaro improvisation — a unique interplay of rhythm and voice that embodies the vibrant dance of the Anaconda. It captures the power of “controlled madness,” walking the edge where 'Tonal thinking' is challenged, understanding is released, and we flow freely in an ocean of endless creation… the strength of the Nahual.

This playful Icaro is perfect for listening during ceremony, for practicing staying grounded, and for relaxing into the dance of the Anaconda.

Creating together as a trio in the moment, not knowing where the spirits will guide us, is a true joy. The music unfolds organically, and the energy in the space calls forth whatever is needed — magical expressed in this musical creation.

The track is now available on all streaming platforms. Or you can support us the most by buying the albums on our Bandcamp page: https://thewhitearrow.bandcamp.com/

Heartbeat ceremony

Dance of the Anaconda (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

Huarmi (or Warmi) Icaros are enchanting love songs that gently soften and open the heart. This particular Huarmi Icaro is partly sung in Shipibo, with the original lyrics intuitively adapted and expanded to better serve the essence of the song.

Midway, the piece transitions into Ashaninka, where the Kamarampi evocation icaro unfolds. Words like “Ayon” and “Ashon” — meaning “I am doing it” — carry a grounding, powerful energy. They guide the medicine deeper and deeper within, moving through layers of resistance and blockage. Ultimately, it is not only what is sung, but how it is sung — and the intention behind it — that gives each word its true meaning and strength.

This icaro is an invitation to journey inward, into deeper acceptance and self-forgiveness, cultivating a warm and steady inner home in the heart.

Boa Boa Koshibo (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

This song was born in a single, spontaneous take during one of our ceremonies. Juanita's voice and the gentle resonance of the Cosmic Bow intertwine, creating an immersive bath of sound that invites you on a mystical inner journey.

The song emerged from the Orinoco and Opening of the Heart ceremonies. It speaks of the Seed of Light that we plant within ourselves—a seed that, when nurtured, grows into a vibrant, powerful expression of who we truly are. "I am..." (fill in your own truth).

The Seed of Light also refers to the seed of a sacred fruit from a tree that has long held deep significance for the Indigenous peoples living along the banks of the Orinoco River.

The music is performed live on the Cosmic Bow, a unique polyphonic mouth bow.

Close your eyes, let the music guide you, and journey through time and space—back to the beginning, where there was only light and the first seed was planted.

Orinoco (seed of light)

Hi dear sisters & brothers,

We just released a new song from our live album.

This song is a big "thank you" to the element of water and all its beautiful spirits: the water beings (Yacuruna), dolphins, fish, waterfalls, oceans, rivers, and more. We are made up of more than 70% water, and this spirit carries a vast amount of information throughout our bodies. It is also the carrier of the plant spirits. Without water, we wouldn't be able to drink these beautiful medicines.

Like all of our songs, this one came to us through the guidance of Grandmother, when she began singing through us in a moment when water was needed.

And when the intensity in ceremony becomes too great, water is the only spirit that can bring us home. In this song, we connect with all the waters of the world—oceans, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, ice, and water vapor—and invite them to flood us with the healing, purifying power of WATER.

This version of the song was recorded live during one of our Heartbeat cacao ceremonies. You can also find it on our live ceremony album.

We hope you enjoy it. Thank you for sharing the song, adding it to your playlists, and using it as a medicine.

Agua Cristalina (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

This special recording was born during one of our Heartbeat Cacao Ceremonies, in a pure and magical moment of improvisation.

Juanita completely surrendered to the free-flow, while Kathleen Denorme intuitively accompanied her with the enchanting sounds of her Rav drum. Together, they created a musical journey that carried us beyond the mind, into other worlds and dimensions.

An encounter with the spirits of the higher realms… with beings of light and extraterrestrial doctors who, as many of us felt during the ceremony, came to support us, to heal, and to bring their energy and guidance

Medicine dreaming (Live at Heartbeat ceremony)

One of the songs we use to honor the great mother vine of the rainforest. Thank you great spirit mother for so much love and teachings. We first received this icaro from our Maestra Ema’a, for us she brought this spirit into our universe. LYRICS
The text is a mixture of Quechua, Spanish and Portuguese and our personal poetic freedom to have the words display the right sound needed for the atmosphere (spirit) of this icaro.

for ancient icaros it s difficult to find an owner of a song. let s say each generation gets the info from the cosmos and downloads the frequency again. we ve learned this song from our Maestra Ema Drolma Mata who gave us the permission of spreading it again. we would like to excuse ourselves if we have missed out on other owners if this icaro. we would like to thank also Don José Campos for his inspiration. his version of this icaro came to our ears a bit later.

Caspi Runa
This song was created out of gratitude for two great plant teachers: Chullachaqui caspi and Shihuahuaco under the all-seeing eye of Mother Ayahuasca. In 2019, Marijn went on a diet with these two plant teachers. Chullachaqui is the spirit of the shapeshifter. This spirit knows all the inhabitants of the rainforest and can teach you the language of the animals and the plants; a special teacher in curanderismo. The
Shihuahuaco is a protector of the body, gives strength and energy, so that the curandero can continue his/her special task and keep the focus on the light.
Language: This song is partly in Amazonian Quechua and Ashaninka. Caspi is simply translated into ‘tree’ in Amazonian Quechua and branch in the Andean Quechua. Runa has the meaning of 'strong' as well as 'spirit'.

Please share and repost this song on your profile if you like it and you can also folow us on Spotify where you'll find even more music and playlists: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4UoBOwDE2nZ5sfA6HpdUFM?si=DB888i69Sf68kwT8d_Ia3g

Caspi Runa

This is a healing icaro for invocation of tribes, groups, peoples all over the world. Usually with the intention to
summon the spirits of the ancestors. And this to learn from them, to feel their legacy. We ask for their help by
accompanying us with their wisdom. "Tribus was for me (Marijn) the first song I composed on the N'Goni." (The N'Goni is a West African harp/guitar painted on the CD cover). "For me (Juanita) this song was the starting point for a much greater work. While singing along to the sounds of the N'Goni, a deep connection with Marijn was
created, opening up a new world for me which started in 2014 as The White Arrow. This song has been accompanying us for years during ceremonies. It has become an icaro that calls for the letting go of the grief of the past and to stand here and now in your power. We made a very musical 'heartbeat' version for the CD to emphasize the atmosphere. A giant canoe takes you across the waves of the past all the way back and forth. We learned this song for our Maestra Ema’a, but the song is registered to Herbert Quinteros (owner of the song).

Tribus

Drolma
Is an ode to our initiator Ema'a Drolma Mata. She introduced us into the world of shamanism. The song starts with some live fragments from a ceremony with Ema'a. At first you hear Ema'a with her assistant Magali. Both are no longer among us in physical form, but we still feel them strongly. The work continues on another level. We always feel very supported by Ema'a and are still very grateful to her.
Om tare tuttare ture soha or 'the green Tara mantra' is an old mantra akin to Tara, the 'Mother of all Buddhas', and especially to her manifestation as Green Tara. Tara, who by Tibetans also called Dolma or Drolma, is generally considered a Bodhisattva or Buddha of compassion and action, a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of physical, emotional and spiritual suffering.
Tara has 21 main shapes, each of which has a different colour and spiritual quality. Of these 21 forms there are two especially popular among Tibetans - White Tara, which is associated with compassion and longevity, and Green Tara, which is associated with enlightened activity and abundance.

"WELCOME! Explore our Music, albums, videos and upcoming ceremonial concerts 🌿."
The White Arrow is the sacred union of two souls (Marijn De Wit & Juanita Pyl). From the fusion of their last names emerged a new spirit — one that touches hearts and lights the way for others. They chose to walk this path side by side, embodying the balance of feminine and masculine energies.
Their music, rooted in their shamanic heritage, is inspired by the whispers of plant spirits, giving life to a project that blends acoustic medicine songs with atmospheric, inner journey sounds.
Their heart-opening music serves as a bridge to the inner world and creativity, offering a connection to higher dimensions of consciousness.
Marijn and Juanita are soundhealers, curanderos/as, and intuitive musicians who specialize in South American shamanism. Their pilgrimages to sacred sites across the globe have connected them with indigenous wisdom keepers, whose teachings they now weave into a rich tapestry of song, invocation, and ritual.
Their voices sing of an ancient love — one that transcends conditioning, rooted in light and guided by the heart.
🎶 Medicine Music is the genre they embody — a rediscovered art form that harks back to the original purpose of creativity: healing. Art, for them, is not just entertainment or distraction, but a sacred tool for regeneration and the expansion of consciousness. Most of their albums are crafted in their home studio, where they explore sound, instruments, and ethereal textures to offer a fresh perspective on medicine music. In live performances, they strip the music down to its purest essence — a minimalist acoustic set, joined by multi-instrumentalist Johannes Siemann.
💛 “Thank you for welcoming our music into your space, for your trust and openness. May your path be filled with love, strength, and radiant health. Enjoy.”
Their fifth album has just been released — a live recording, featuring icaro’s and spontaneous improvisations as they were shared in the moment.
