Arguably one of DFS's greatest productions, "Reminisce" gives the listener a view into the youth of the DFS crew. One of the few tracks jointly composed by Funnel Web and Tarantula, it will melt your face while at the same time educating you on some of the properties of sound.

Picture a raptor ridden by Jesus Christ. They burst through the thick brush at the forest's edge millions of years ago, their sights set on a young, injured member of a prey herd. Gastric acids begin oozing within their meat-craving stomachs as they sprint gloriously across a green meadow toward the pathetic herbivore. They call out in triumph, anticipating a fresh meal of tender muscle tissue and fat.
Then imagine something else explode from it's hiding place nearby; a massive beast with robust horns covering much of it's face. It's gaping jaws reek of death and it's teeth are stained diarrhea brown with deadly bacteria like a modern day komodo dragon. The shock waves created by it's truck-dissecting bite of a befuddled man-Christ and terrified raptor can be felt by lesser dinosaurs nearly a mile away...

One of Blix's most important influences was the early 90's NYC underground devastator Helmet. Please enjoy this cover of their skull-crusher "In The Meantime." Hans played all the instruments himself on the recording! Please forgive the poor percussion sound quality; it was made by pointing a single SM57 at the set haha. Still...not bad Hans, not bad at all.

Congratulations. You have discovered Hans Blix's first track ever written or recorded; now over 12 years ago. That was a dark time...the Iraq War was underway, our friends had to resort to Roadhouse and September's in New London, CT to find decent chicks, and worst of all, nu-metal trash was running rampant. All that is necessary for evil to reign is for good men to do nothing. Hence the creation of Hans fucking Blix.
