DJ D.Luxe is an international DJ who's musical foundation started in Chicago, the home of house music, where she grew up. Born in Sevilla, Spain, D. standing for her name, Dionna, and Luxe representing her love for luxury and quality everything.  D.Luxe lived in Barbados for 12 years, establishing herself on the island by curating her own events, including BIMHAUS (@bimhaus) where fashion and music meet on a runway alongside the islands' best fine artists, photographers, videographers & dope creatives. We're closing out the year in style, our most comprehensive Housekeeping guest mix yet, and by no surprise - 2 hours of deep, soulful, and classic house gems provided by RSI resident DJ & Producer, SRRMN. Atlanta born & Brooklyn based, Ramoan “SRRMN” Bruce, the self proclaimed “Black Priest of House” uses various influences of his childhood such as gospel, southern hip hop, disco and afrobeats to transcend what is considered the normal formula for house music. Every set and mix is meant to sound cinematic, energetic and almost holy, which is why SRRMN’s sets are commonly referred to as “Sermons”, and the deep library of tracks, “Scriptures". We are pleased to share our first Housekeeping Guest Mix of 2022 with none other than New York City based DJ and curator, Bridgette Crowell, also known as beewack. Bridgette got her start booking artists at some of NYC’s most respected venues, such as Blue Note, Highline Ballroom & Le Bain. In recent years she has shifted her focus; jumping behind the booth to give dancers a reason to move their hips. Drawing on her love for house music, as well as the sounds of calypso, disco, and R&B she grew up with, a beewack set is sure to blend genres and inspire motion.

Housekeeping Guest Mix 012: BEEWACK (New York City)

Our Housekeeping Guest Mix series from our DJ friends all over this beautiful planet is back - this month with Cape Town, South Africa's finest deep and soulful house selector, the one and only, LEIGHTON MOODY. 

Also known as "Soulsideup", he is the co-founder of the internationally-known ''We House Sundays'' movement, respected among dancers and music lovers alike, Moody has a unique way of storytelling through his DJ sets. His love for fusing a variety of House Music textures and his ability to move dancefloors has seen him carve his own niche in the South African Deep House scene and abroad. With over two decades of experience in the music industry, his versatility as a DJ has seen him grace most of South Africa's top clubs and music festivals, including Ultra SA, Lighthouse Festival, Bazique Festival, Wolfkop Weekender, Cape Town Electronic Music Fest, Rocking the Daisies, Synergy, Oppikoppi, and more. Moody has shared the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Monique Bingham, Dixon, Jimpster, and Atjazz. He also featured live on Boiler Room x Ballantine's event playing back to back with DJ Cassiem Latief, showcasing their monthly "We House Sundays" event in Cape Town. Through Moody's continuous efforts in the South African electronic music scene, he is able to consistently and mindfully impact the ever-changing House Music landscape and remains one of the key figures of the House Music scene - present, past, and future.

After only a few months, Vietnam news named her one of the major newcomers, Ho Chi Minh City boiler room sets were played and even vice.com featured her as one of Saigon’s most influential underground personalities. Levi's style can veer seamlessly between pumping techno and playful house staking a personal claim with refreshing curiosity.

Julio G is a music lover, world traveler, community organizer and entrepreneur. Known by his stage name, The Whooligan, he has over 15 years of performance experience as a globally recognized DJ and Artist. Julio’s commitment to social impact is what motivated him to launch music-based, humanitarian organization, Room Service International in 2018. Under Julio’s leadership, Team RSI has expanded their mission to live a life of service in 4 continents around the world.
