NWSC017 is brought to us by newcomer to the label, Kyoshe, featuring three dark, murky, and enigmatic tracks to kick off our first venture of 2024. 

The first track Skinamarink, leads with what sounds like disembodied voices whispering sweet evil nothings into our ear, coupled with ripping and rolling basslines, and exotic strings. Next up is Masks Off, giving an unearthly, almost science fiction vibe, has dark, robotic, twisted basses and a very catchy melody. Wrapping it up properly is Idle Hands, a sludgy, pumping track with a heavy low end and head-nodding, alternating stabs that piece together a truly frightening soundscape.

Hailing from the plains of Oklahoma, he has been making music from a young age. Created in the late winter of 2023, This track unveils the dystopian echoes of a world under the iron-fisted control of the upper class. The throbbing basslines act as seismic pulses, reflecting the oppressive weight of power that resonates throughout the track. The dissonant harmonies and glitched textures symbolize the fractured unity of a society torn apart by the stark divisions between the ruling class and the oppressed masses. The rhythm carries the listener through an unsettling journey, akin to navigating the labyrinthine corridors of power where every step is overshadowed by the looming presence of authority. Industrial soundscapes and metallic clangs interlace with the bass, evoking the mechanical nature of a society functioning to serve the interests of the privileged few.
