The Wired is a short-term university project created by 7 music students studying a performance and production degree at The University of East London.
The Wired provides an artistic, abstract view of life, and the experiences we as beings go through. Using visuals as a reference to express emotions through musical instrumentation, the project offers an insight into the creative state of the musicians and their interpretation on unsettling situations. The group creates atmospheric moods that reflect the visual aspect of a composition through Structured improvisation, using linear and non-linear components to convey individual ideas and concepts.
The Wired has a very unique and distinctive sound, combining rock blues and soul, which delivers a lasting impact on audiences. 
The Project allows for the group to progress their music abilities within a professional, functioning work environment. Reflect on the creative production process, placing it in the context of current music performance and production practice. The Wired are currently creating a portfolio of original music compositions suitable for performances and an EP release.
