The sonic cry of our mother, Nature, recorded for posterity. "Mother's Nature" is a chronicle of the mistreatment and decay of this, once beautiful, plain of existence afforded to us by our mother. The first line sums it all up proficiently, "Trees cry, rivers bleed, petroleum debris... under green skies, peeking through clouds grown from a seed". She has been here long before us and she will be here long after we've gone. We must honor our mother in order to uplift fallen humanity.

Mothers Nature Master

I was tasked by my brother Kudjo Adwo El of Canaanland Moors, to flip this Jay Dilla instrumental. This endeavor was labeled as the "Take Notice" challenge. The purpose of the challenge was to promote unity amongst The Moors of North West Amexem and to showcase The Moors microphone skills in attempts to raise awareness about the History of Moorish Americans and aid in uplifting fallen Humanity.

Take Notice

This particular song was inspired by my mother Grace. She had made an observation regarding my music, stating that I'm always so serious in my songs and especially when I'm performing. "Why don't you ever smile, while you perform?", she asked. I had no answer and her comments made me really think. She was right as mothers usually are. So when I heard this instrumental by my man Duke Skellington, it immediately transported me back to the early 90"s and my high school days. I thought this is the perfect opportunity to show my mother that I definitely could write something a little more upbeat and actually have fun with my music. I am ever so grateful to her for challenging me to step out of my comfort zone and push myself to take another direction for my art. This track is a real  departure for me from what I usually do and has become my ode to the "Golden Age Era". Step in to my time machine and let's go back to early 90's.
