September 11th is also the anniversary of the 1973 Chilean coup. It's alleged that US President Richard Nixon and his  secretary of state, Henry Kissinger, used the CIA to help destabilize the Chilean government. The World's host, Marco Werman, spoke with Kissinger on September 11, 2014 to discuss the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001, 13 years later. Werman also asked Kissinger about the Chilean coup, but he didn't want to discuss the coup.

After my story on Monday about how legendary Brooklyn pizzeria Totonno's is trying to rebuild and come back after super-storm Sandy, a lot of people said how charmed they were by the grand-daughter of the late Anthony "Totonno" Pero, Antoinette Balzano.  So here is an extended mix of the time I spent with Balzano, going around Coney Island, starting in front of Totonno's, going to the boardwalk, and returning back to the restaurant. We began by speaking about her grandfather.
