Falsified Fantasies

Alpha Rhythm is The World Is Not Round's first debut full-length album. The album explores a new sound and style which incorporates various kinds of genre and influences mostly from the 80's new-wave and indie rock music while still retaining the modern feel of their sound. A wide range of themes such as love, heartbreak, betrayal, death, crime, substance abuse, and leaving home can also be found from the lyrics. Self-produced by the band, the record takes a different approach while still maintaining the emo-fueled soul that is characteristic of Iligan City's sound. The group started production November 2014 and finished on May 2016 at the Cellar Studios in Iligan City.
