Barely Alive & Nyptane - Electric Lady (ft. XO Eliza) (Akosmo Remix)

Somber

Exquisite Corpse is a method by which a collection of words or images is collectively assembled. Each collaborator adds to a composition in sequence, either by following a rule or by being allowed to see only the end of what the previous person contributed.

Introducing a new concept: A Musical Exquisite Corpse. Based on the classical Exquisite Corpse idea, 13 amazing artists from the Worldwave Discord community came together to collaborate on this project.

Each artist, in a randomly-arranged list, was tasked to create up to 16 bars in a timespan of 4 days, based ONLY on the 2 last bars of what the previous artist created, never hearing the full composition. Then, 2 bars from their creation were sent forward to the next artist in line. No artist (except for me, the first prompt) was exposed to anything in the composition except their prompts, until right now.

Eventually, we took every section, connected them together, and Corpsewave 2021 - "Cascade" is the result. 

I'm extremely proud of how this project came out. The amount of talent that took part in this creation is exorbitant. Out of this world. Please enjoy, and don't forget to follow these incredible people (ordered in the order they appear in the composition):

Sorry for not uploading much this year, but i think weve achieved some pretty cool stuff! we got an NCS release, MA release and a Reinelex one! 

I have tried to release as much as I can but just like any of us, ive had things to deal with and the one that slowed me the most was no headphones for 2 months and I couldnt produce.

Arriving in what seems to be the insides of your mind, you recognize your sanity again, but due to a blockade you question if you are even prepared to lift it back up again. Even with little hope left, you conclude that you can't save it from the Resonance Catastrophe yet and that you need to aquire knowledge in order to destroy that barrier.

It has become a race against the clock...

I think this project is one year old or so, because it went through many different versions and I kept getting frustrated at the mix, but I finally managed to get it upstraight. This is also my first track ever that has proper lyrics in it, and I am super happy about that! I hope that you enjoy this piece!
