WyLd RoZe (originally Nichole Rose Campbell) is a Local Singer Songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. As long as she can remember, singing has been her passion. It was a musical household growing up with her step Dad Bruce Dixon (a very well known bassist for Roch Voisine and Rita McNeil  as well as many other countless Aritist’s over the past 40 years). Starting at a very early age belting out operatic notes to tease her brothers and banging on the piano and trombone were not uncommon noises in the Dixon household.
She learned to love good music at a very early age and much of her music lessons were learned on long Sunday drives with the family piled in the car listening to  Funk, Soul ,Jazz, and many other genres of music and since has fine tuned her own sound, through many years of practice and experimentation.
With smooth, powerful and soulful vocals, honest and personal lyrics, her memorable original music will leave you feeling moved and in touch with the passion of the heart.  
After creating and hosting two Open Mic’s in Halifax from 2010 to 2014. Every single Friday for 4 years she committed herself to her community and her passion. She gained much inspiration, experience and motivation to begin her music career as a Singer/Songwriter/Musician in 2011 with her ex husband Peter Wilson in the band Chasing Venus. 
This was the first stage of evolution for the band which eventually grew to a trio instead of a duo. They then became The Hearth and The Harrow with additional Band member Brandon Miller Davis. The three created some beautiful harmonies and sounds together for a year when all then went their separate respectful ways in 2014.
Playing at many different local pubs (Bearly’s House of Blues, Feeman’s Little New York), clubs (such a The Seahorse), events, charities, festivals and even singing on the news to promote The Brown Bear Festival at Neptune Theatre in 2013. She had been seen singing her heart out at The Sweet Hereafter Cheescakery every Thursday night for 2 years and has shared the stage with the likes of Roger House, and opened  for Artist’s Ria Mae and Andy Brown.
Currently working with DJ’s all over Canada she is providing talented artist’s with a voice for their songs.
