Santa's Beard

A raw, emotionally immersive concept album that explores the full spectrum of the human condition — from paralyzing despair and soul-wrecking apathy to existential rebellion and spiritual rebirth. Each song is a movement in a greater arc of survival: an elegy for the self lost to silence, and an anthem for the self that dares to rise again.

From the claustrophobic numbness of "Dream Death", to the searing societal outrage of "World Thieves", to the arena-sized cry for purpose in "Lifeless Hour", the album builds toward the final, uplifting catharsis of "Reaching for the Stars and Falling on the Moon." Fusing 1980s arena rock, dark synth-pop, Dre-style hip-hop, orchestral pop, and cinematic production, this is more than music — it’s a soul-soundtrack for those surviving the quiet wars no one else can see.

This Is The Kit have released a two song holiday single to celebrate the end of their career-making tour cycle behind their Aaron Dessner-produced LP 'Bashed Out'

"Christmas Time Is Here" is a classic from the Peanuts' animated holiday special A Charlie Brown Christmas. The b-side is "La Peregrinacion" (which translates as "Pilgrimage") — an English translation of the Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez's holiday classic.

A jolly little tune we recorded in the spirit o' Christmas! Happy holidays one and all!

Tom Brown is the master behind the guitar & the production duties (and a little backing vocal, but don't tell him I told you..) Sian crooned lovingly & shook a tupperware container full of risotto rice for percussive effect. Tom & Sian shared the labour of the cocktail-piano sparkles, gliding across the keyboard like Torvill & Dean. We also got our Christmas elf, Adam 'White Christmas' White, to play some bass & jiggle the bell on a santa hat, because we couldn't find anywhere to buy sleigh bells in time.
