​In 2001 Malimal wrote his first rhyme. a rhyme that would be the beginning of a movement in hip-hop music that he plans to usher in. That rhyme became the thing that helped this young kid begin to fight of his demons and enemies, while at the same time forging a new dream to follow. That dream would be to do music that reached the very soul of his audience. As that boy grew so did his talent. in 2004 he moved to Brooklyn and went to Paul Robeson High School where he met many people to help him hone his skills. in  2005 he joined the supergroup Blaze Of Glory comprised of rappers, singers, and producers. With this group and the schools weekly showcase Malimal became a celebrity amongst his schoolmates for his highly poetic style and his freestyle ability. in 2009 he began a solo journey still returning to that quest to make music that leaves a lasting impression on his fans and contemporaries. With songs like "Just In Case" "Heart Murmur" and the "Got Yo Self" freestyle people are beginning to see his style and learn who he is as an emcee. in 2014 Malimal released several singles in preparation for his debut mixtape Sept.Ember. These singles included, "Cigarette Ashes", "Anytime" , and "Payday Flow" which are becoming minor hits as well as the critically acclaimed "Exhibit A (Hell's Gate)". These songs and the fire of their delivery will push Malimal to the numbers that he hopes to achieve with the release of his first project. Stay tuned because there is a lot that this young, fresh, phenomenal artist has to offer.
