When B**** broke up with me while I was on the way to the funeral, I took some beats and a couple packs of cigarettes in my shitty Toyota and drove my happy ass to Iowa to lay Aunt Tracy to rest/celebrate her legacy. I discovered her poems, one about her turning into "Rose" in a dream-world in particular really stuck out to me. (Earth V?) It was that moment, that loneliness, that understanding, that heartbreak... those poems... that motivated me to keep going in this shit... Last year, B**** was all I had, but this year... its the music.
