In Hindsight

The Yesteryear is a Groningen based solo studio project founded in the fall of 2020. What I enjoy most is the autonomy and freedom in arranging and composing. In The Yesteryear I aspire to do so by combining powerful atmospherical, melodical, and contrasting elements.

After visiting my first punk show at 17 I was blown away and immediately picked up a guitar for 25 bucks. In the following years I taught myself to play. Eversince I have been active in several bands and different genres, leading up to The Yesteryear.
