I don't hear anyone gripe about it, but that detuned synth in the beginning is intentional and I tweaked the knob to be in tune during the song. I still can't believe this was all done live. I was tasked with mastering Volume 5 of Chiptunes = WIN, and as soon as we heard "Downpour", we knew it had to be the first track. It was great to hear a downtempo edge of something like Failure in chiptune form. Failure is one of my favorite bands. I had to do this.
