So...its nearly been a year in the making, and finally it's out. The NFBN EP. This whole thing started out as a small conversation of our weekly bass night at Discopussy. Thought it would be a cool idea to make something that represents a bit of NFBN. I started this project last June in 2021 and have been at it for a while now.

Each song is vastly different from the other, and it's a new direction from what I normally do, but I hope you all enjoy it!

A while back there was a Remix Competition around this song that Phace put out on beatport. I was going to take part in it, but I never got around to making the track. Months later, here I am and my version of the song is complete and free for you all to enjoy.

When I sitting there thinking "what should I do to it?" I ended up going a little less heavy than most of my other songs. I figured "lets do something different!" and from there I ended up with what you are listening to and or are going to. Heavy on the sub, Light but punchy percussion snare, A moderately 100hz and deeper hitting kick, Reese basslines that are inspired from glitch hop/Neurohop, and last but not least the emotion that I extracted from this song to create the Atmosphere. Piano between drops, beginning, and end of the song.

A few months ago a friend of mine passed away. Things got pretty heavy within the crew. The mental part of everything was rough on everyone especially one of my closest friends...So I took the time out to start a song, a tribute to him, something that he would be proud of. He always liked DnB, and he always supported my decisions with my music and everything I did. Great kid...with a goofy smile. I don't want to get too into it but Craig...here's your goodbye track. Complete and ready to step to for you in the Heavens.

I did a remix for the Black Sun Empire competition. Didn't place, but was going to make this an original. Decided against it, so here it is. I do like this new direction I'm going in now. We shall see what other kinds of dnb and music I come up with after this one.
