Underground Resistance out of Detroit. 

Most of what we think of as "techno" came directly from them. It's hard to think of a more influential, more powerful collective in all of electronic music.

Making music since 1990, a group of young men in Detroit picked up musical instruments, rudimentary drum machines, and early computer technology and fused it with an independent and political ethos that defines the genre to this day.

But the story doesn't stop there.

Alan Oldham a.k.a. DJ T-1000 (like the rest of UR) grew up in Detroit and was the collective's primary visual communicator - making art, logos, record covers for not just his own crew but also for Miss Djax and Djax-Up-Beats among many others. As Jeff Mills and Robert Hood stepped farther away from the crew due to increased demands from solo careers, Mr. Oldham became the crew's primary DJ, playing records on Detroit's WDET-FM. His own productions and releases increased in volume and influence, and by the late 90s he was releasing and playing regularly for Tresor in Berlin.

This 'Detroit to Berlin connection' cannot be overstated in terms of influence.

Mr. Oldham began to use Berlin as a base around a decade ago, and he tours and releases regularly - bringing authentic techno sounds and ideas to new generations of people. We were honored to have him in the THF Radio studio booth, playing some classic tracks along with some of his unreleased techno and electro productions.

A record label that just celebrated its third anniversary, focusing on experimental techno, hypnotic techno, minimalism, ambient, and sci-fi. We also highlight the search for new talent and support them in their discovery process. It also seeks collaborations with more established artists on the global scene.

Linderluft is showcasing the Artist John Plaza.

The Chilean artist based in Barcelona is the owner and founder of Linderluft Records. His sound is characterized by minimalist percussions, continuous atmospheres, breakbeat rhythms and a search for mental journeys and movements. Since he started producing, he has released music on labels such as: KVLTÖ Records, Annulled Music, Fur:ther Sessions, BAHN· Records, The Gods Planet, Postdynamic, Inner Tension, Space Textures, Khoros,  Circular Limited, to name a few.

We can also highlight his active collaboration in more than 40 podcasts worldwide, sharing his vision of deep and hypnotic techno. Monument Podcast and The Memoir by Hypnus Records are his most important contributions. @syntrovert is a producer and DJ based in Valparaíso. She explores a wide variety of musical styles and facets, including house, trance, Latin rhythms, and experimental music.

Throughout her career, she has been part of iconic collective projects in the local scene and has participated in parties, fairs, bars, and festivals both nationally and internationally.

She has developed experience in both DJ sets and live electronic music acts, adapting to different formats.

Since 2016, she has produced a large amount of music and has performed on large-scale stages as well as in more intimate gatherings. She was fortunate enough to tour Mexico twice as a DJ and perform in Switzerland as part of the DJ duo Roadrunner.


She currently runs the internet label Orca Electronics, which focuses on the so-called Nuevo House style. She is also part of the iconic Buenos Aires internet label Cartajena Ink.

Triebwerk is the heart of a jointly organised club project that emerged from the crews K&F and PNYX. Together, they now form the KFPNYX collective – an association of artists, DJs, technicians, lighting designers and enthusiasts from Erfurt's alternative club scene. The aim was to create a space that matched their ideas – musically, creatively and atmospherically.
Triebwerk is the manifestation of this desire. In 2024, a place that is much more than just a techno club was created in the rooms of a former chocolate factory in the north of Erfurt. Triebwerk is a cultural venue, a network, a free space and a creative engine – a real ‘driving force’ for the scene.

Veryl East is a DJ based in Zurich. He plays emotionally textured trance and ambient, drawing inspiration from the contemporary Scandinavian scene and past Parisian nights alike. While helping to carve out a niche for Nordic trance in Switzerland, he has also appeared in mix series and line-ups across Europe and beyond.

In this mix, the spirit of 1970s African American jazz unfolds: searching, fierce, tender, and unbound. It is music born of vision and struggle, of cosmic freedom and earthly truth — a reminder of both the spiritual heights and the hard realities that Black musicians have always faced, and continue to face today.
