One of the staple forces behind Termanology’s ST. Da Squad, DJ Deadeye has been waiting patiently for his turn in the spotlight. Many already know the Puerto Rican-born, Massachusetts-raised Deadeye (born Dustin Hernandez) as rapper Term’s DJ, but he’s spent the last six years quietly building an impressive resume that goes far beyond just his inner circle. Having released multiple critically acclaimed mix tapes and toured extensively in the U.S. and internationally, opening for artists such as Kanye West, Ghostface Killah, M.O.P., DJ Premier and others, Deadeye has made a name for himself in the industry off the strength of his achievements with others. Da Squad and many others, with production from Statik Selektah (1982), DC the Midi Alien (East Coast Avengers), Arabian Knight, Moss, J. Cardim, MGI and Deadeye himself. Led by singles from Freddie Foxxx, Panchi (NYG’Z) & Big Shug (“Had It Comin’”) and Slaine, Esoteric, Krumbsnatcha & Ea$y Money (“Livin’ Lost”), Deadeye delivers a disc full of raw, exciting hip-hop that, despite its many contributors, remains an album with his own distinctive stamp on it. The CD comes housed in a handsome 6 panel digipak with a fold out poster featuring original artwork by painter Andrew Royce Fournier. As Rite Hook continues to prep his next full-length project (‘Modify'), the Boston emcee delivers another standout track with, “The Motions.” It’s an anthem for anyone tired of the bullsh*t and verbal garbage that can too often weigh us down.

The track is fueled by a piano-laced slapper courtesy of The Arcitype, who also resides in Boston and has worked with the likes of Termanology, Slaine, Reks and more. But it’s not an all-Beantown-everything affair on here, because Hook is joined on “The Motions” by New York spitter, Chris Rivers (aka Big Pun’s son). The Big Apple rapper does his namesake proud with a verse littered with slick, blistering rhymes that match the track’s theme of rising above the snakes and staying true to both yourself and your artistry.

Toronto based MC Fortunato has released a new music video entitled Sin City Remix today.
The video features West coast MC's Snak The Ripper and Evil Ebenezer and is directed by Stuey Kubrick.
It was shot on location in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and focuses on social issues surrounding life in the inner city.
The song was also remixed by Stuey Kubrick showcasing his abilities to both produce music and direct.
