I never really stopped producing music since, but over the years much has remained hidden on hard drives. The worst that could happen to music is not to be heard. Time for a change!

This is "Sound Disease" by DJ Tease. A song produced about two years ago, but it always lacked suitable vocals until the vocals of The Ragga Twins, old collaborators with whom Tease first hit the studio over 20 years ago, completed this dancefloor banger.

With “Conga”, DJ Tease dives into house music once again—despite his roots running deep in Drum & Bass and Jungle. Having spent over 30 years behind the decks, club music has shaped most of his life. Known for his genre-blending sets and open musical spirit, Tease has built a diverse network of DJ friendships far beyond D&B.
One of those friends, „Ninetoes“, lent his skills to the arrangement and mix of “Conga” during a visit to Koh Samui—DJ Tease’s tropical home for the past two years. The result? A groove-heavy tropical house track full of rhythm, soul, and the unmistakable energy of two seasoned DJs at work.

What started in the early '90s with Acid House, influenced by the vibrant  UK Soundsystem Culture, evolved into Jungle and later shaped my world through Drum & Bass. This progression has defined a major part of my musical identity.

As a DJ, I’ve always strived to develop a unique style, going beyond merely spinning tracks created by others. Now, for the first time in 33 years, I’ve crafted a mix featuring only my own productions.

This project represents a personal milestone. A mix that is 100% my own signature sound. It’s a moment of reflection and growth, and I’m excited to finally share this chapter.

Tease - Origins (The essence of a Drum&Bass lab)

Sometimes, producers have countless tracks gathering dust on hard drives. Unfinished ideas that never see the light of day. But every once in a while, a single sample sparks that instant creative fire, the kind that makes you move fast, fueled by pure inspiration and the urge to share the energy as soon as possible.

“Burn For You” is exactly that. From the very first beat to mastering, artwork creation, and upload to distribution. The entire process took less than three weeks. In decades of producing music, I’ve never released a track this quickly.

This tune is a reminder that done is better than perfect – and that creativity flows best when you let it. “Burn For You” captures that raw passion and immediacy. A Drum & Bass track straight from the heart, made to ignite dancefloors and headphones alike.

Sometimes destiny hits hard – but that can also bring unexpected inspiration.
A while ago, I broke one of my vertebrae. When the doctors told me what probably causes the pain, I didn’t want to believe them – until the X-ray proved me wrong.
When I’m producing beats, I never start with a title or artwork in mind. It’s all about the drums, the snare, the hi-hats, the breaks. But this time was different. Looking at that X-ray of my closed fractured spine, I instantly knew how to call this tune: “Closed Fractured.”
What began as a painful experience turned into creative energy. “Closed Fractured” captures that transformation – from limitation to liberation, from break to breakthrough.
I hope you feel that same energy in the music.
