Concordances II is part of an ongoing series of pieces that explore the integration of field recordings and environmental sounds into the musical discourse focusing on the control of the degrees of mimesis with instrumental sounds. It investigates the potential of suggesting symbolic relationships to objects, scenes, actions, by means of sounds and their unfolding through musical time.
