Quick rave demo for the SampleSource 8-bit Amiga sample pack re-release. 

Earlier this year, I got a KryoFlux so that I could read my only remaining set of 12 DD Amiga floppy disks containing the sample pack I made and sold during the early 90s. Amazingly, none of the 12 disks failed. You can download the pack from https://archive.org/details/SampleSource in all of its 8SVX glory.

You can still load these samples right into a modern-day tracker such as ReNoise (all instruments are sampled at C3, except for the drum sounds which are sampled at F3 for that slightly higher bitrate). Anything else will probably require conversion.

Original documentation (Dutch only, sorry) and example MODs are included, as well as 12 Amiga format disk images for those who insist on the original experience (there are fancy custom icons hidden in there!).

Anyway, this is probably not of any practical use unless you suffer from a severe case of nostalgia. ;)

SampleSource re-release demo

Mutable Instruments demo where the initial excitation signal is the voltage spike that happens when powering the modular on. Elements is not triggered in any other way. There’s a feedback loop that turns this trigger into a sustained drone. The only tweaking that happens here is me turning the feedback amount down at the end of the recording.
