TW badly mixed and high-pitched noises
Tried out Noise Canvas by Rob Clouth (https://github.com/robclouth/noise-canvas) and really liked the software so I tried to put up a full track starting from some leftover modular patch record I had lying around my laptop.

For the 3rd track, I went through recordings on my phone made during the past year. A bit of cutting, a bit of equalizing and a bit of reverb, and here it is

Another VCV rack patch for today. Was planning on doing some phasing rythm with clearing set timesteps so that it loops over the course of the recording but ended up going away from this and rely only on the vibes. I usually focus on the texture and the sound design more than the melody itself and the song structure, so definitely an interesting exercise here.

Used a homemade clone of the Synthux Audrey 2 for today. I was planning on finishing the build of a drone synth which has issues I still need to fix, so I hope it will be for later this month. Really tired so it's a really low effort one.

Jamuary 2026 - 05

Weird tired somehow happy beat I came up with using the lower half of my modular synth. Hats are Akemi's Taiko, Synthy bass bit is Behringer's Neutron and snary sounds are made with Rings. The rythmy texture is done by pinging Smear by Smoothie Audio with a trigger. It's a module I really enjoy and am still learning about. I don't think this track is very good but it's interesting. Again, a low-effort one.

a bunch of chords recorded several times and superimposed, with tape effects to mask my bad guitar skills. I didn't really add delay to the mix so the outcome is interesting. Again today, not really good imo, maybe an idea to dig a bit more at some point.

Another lazy jam after 4 days without any energy to keep up jamuary, hope I'll be more inspired in the coming days and have a bit more energy. Inspired by have a nice life but a bit more drony, I used the main part of my modular and played bass on top of it with an effect chain of homemade pedals. 

Jamuary 2026 - 11

Another day another jamuary jan. I experimented with no input mixing today, since I had an old mixer lying around. I used all of the tracks of the mixer and all my 6.3mm patch cables for this. I found that separating a bit the left and right channels allows to kind of switch from one texture to another although no input mixing is really turning knobs randomly , trying to see what happens and enjoying the vibes :)
