"OCEAN is a very interesting aspect of my life. It is part of my DNA. It conveys all things I can't put into words.
Life, loss, love, spirit. As I evolve so too does 'Ocean'. The song was first recorded as part of my first album/cassette,
"Searching For Heritage", which I sold when I busked, then for my first self-titled studio album 12 years ago -- "John Butler (1998)".
The song has been watched online incredibly over 25 million times in various formats, nearly always live, be it from MusicMax Sessions or from one of the many festivals I have had the pleasure to play. I'd like to thank you for your continued support over all these years; it means so much to me. I would like to thank you by offering this first studio recording of 'Ocean' in over a decade as a free download.
I recorded it in my favourite studio, The Compound here in Fremantle Western Australia, a studio you helped me build.
This marks just another fleeting moment in a career that is very much ongoing.

This musical experience somehow naturally occurred during my travels all over the planet in 2012 while feeling the call to "stretch" and extent already existing songs, improvising with the intensity of sound as well as "letting the strings tell stories...“ 

During enormous amounts of sessions, which range from 1 hour to 5 hours I've seen and felt an incredible magic … it didn't matter where this experience took place. It has always been like a miracle. 

A transformation of thought into eternal smiling silence - at meditation festivals, yoga retreats, street festivals, concerts, mental institutes, elderly houses, small house gatherings and huge parties. 

I’m doing my best to stay with "this energy" no matter what surroundings are there, holding the space for those around to achieve a "flying experience" - at times it is very challenging yet always beneficial. 

I still have no idea what I do during these sessions, as it seems indeed, just holding a guitar, as it becomes much more than music - and its not about the music - and surely its not about me - but all that is involved in the process - either visible or invisible. 
Within this recording I tried to keep the original energy. 
Though surely it is never the same as it could be experienced Live!

Internal Flight (Remastered)

This EP was entirely recorded, produced and mixed by the Falmon. 

It reflects what lies within this being and each song has a deep personal meaning, bringing emotions to life within the melody and chaos of each composition. 
Inspired by the journeys within the psychedelic realm, the recording of these sounds ultimately allowed the acceptance, detachment and liberation from those emotions. 
Forward is the way and it had just begun.

The Falmon has very little knowledge in the art of mixing and mastering and had no ideia about what he was doing the whole time. But the Falmon also has no money to record in a studio. 
So be aware of loose frequencies in the air, some disturbing humming noise entering your ears and creating discomfort on your body. The harmonic dissonances may hit home and you might want to stop this.
In case you relate to what is happennig with this soundscapes, fear not, here we find eachother and grow together.
