Peace talks died before they started
You want a partner, not a clone

Said you’re tired of doing it all
I step up, still take the fall
Set a boundary, take the hit
Guess I’m damned for even trying to fix it

We keep stepping on landmines and leftovers
Blowing up small talk into silent wars
Every smile’s got a loaded core
You say “relax” then slam the door
We’re bruised, confused, still standing somehow
But I can’t keep dancing through fallout now

One comment, and I’m public enemy
Even when I whisper, you weapon me
Your birthday turned into a scene
But I won’t apologize for trying to be seen
