At first I wanted to create an arpeggio with a synth, because I associate waiting rooms with contemplation and had a typical SciFi-Sound in mind. But that always turned out to sound somewhat depressing, which might not be the music you want to play in a psychotherapist’s waiting room. 
So I came up with a more open vibe. Also, the birds in the background make me feel more relaxed.
In fact, they are chirping on solo while I'm writing this.
