The Commando Elite were the enemies of the Gorgonites.
They were manufactured by a toy company known as Heartland Playsystems which had been taken over by a military division named GloboTech Industries. Their leader is Major Chip Hazard.
These war-hungry toys are the most aggressive fighting force ever assembled. With an X-1000 micro-processing chip hard-wired into each of them providing AI capabilities, they are ready to destroy the Gorgonites. Due to Commando Elites’ origins being from a military based company, they are able to utilize military grade technology & guerrilla tactics. 
Their designation was to be a heroic fighting force against the Gorgonites. Regrettably, their programming, as well as the enhancement from the X-1000 munitions micro-processing chip, turned them into unstable ruthless killing machines.

The Gorgonites are the peaceful enemies of the Commando Elite. 
They were also hard-wired with the same micro-processing chip, the X-1000, and were created to be villains and enemy of the Commando Elite. Their given credo is "Destroy order, promote chaos!". However, the Gorgonites were ultimately programmed to be peaceful, kind hearted, heroic creatures with their only goal being to find their home - Gorgon
