Gaggalacka celebrates its 20th anniversary. The Double-X in the artwork as well as the hourglass mirror this journey and also give a hint for the future, as we are not even close to running out of time, ideas and motivation. The festival behind the name has grown within the last 20 years, but has remained faithful to its visions and unique spirit. It constantly mingles newly discovered talents with already known and well established artists in its line up. Gaggalacka as a festival takes place on phantastic locations, such as a stonepit, a hilltop at 700m altitude, a freaky farm and a dream beach and therefore mirrors the nomadic nature of the Psychedelic Trance Culture. It always offers an unforgettable psychedelic playground for children, no matter what age they might be. The group of diverse freaks creating this festival for all of us always keeps the focus on numerous other cultural and artistic activities, highlighting diversity rather than profit. 

To celebrate 20 years of music, art, chaos, smiling, dancing, friendship and creativity with you, the music experts of the Gaggalacka family got together and extensively made use of this very quiet time to create this double free compilation for your personal listening pleasure. As we live in troubled times, we have decided to highlight the option to donate money for this release. All money collected will be forwarded to a benevolent cause according to the statute of the Gaggalacka association. We will keep you informed as soon as we know whom to support. Keep an eye on our Social Media if you may want to have a say and propose organizations ;) 

As this is the second part of our anniversary double release, you can now finally enter into the deep and entrancing realms of a full spectrum psychedelic trance compilation showcasing all styles that are regularly part of our line ups over the years. We hope you can tune in and drop out with this collection of dancefloor blasters. We are looking forward to meet all of you soon at a Gaggalacka event in the near future, maybe even this summer ;)

Through History and Civilisations, the dream has been a way of emancipating ourselves
from space and time, a tool to access the supernatural and spiritual world, and to connect with our ancestors. It even has been a way of healing and an access to knowledge and visions written deep inside ourselves.

Musical practices and artistic behaviors have been ways of dreaming awake, to connect with the world we travel in at night. Like a key to Morpheus's arms, musical instruments helped us reach that dream state and express the inexpressible through sound.

Deep inside the Metrix, experimentation reigns supreme; Structural dichotomies formed through exuberant Terranoises, dark Ataroxia, melodic dissonance, timbral permutations and vicious tranquility.
The result, an intransigently psychedelic medley of four reverie-inducing, dance floor-ripping compositions at an energy of 13 TranceElectronVolts (TeV) per beat that will set your baryons resonating.

Behind Third Eye of Monkey is Daniel Neria from Mexico City.

Daniel started his musical journey when he fell in love listening to Goa trance music in early 2000. With passion and dedication, he started producing electronic music in summer 2009.

Third Eye of Monkey is a well-known project around the world, founded in 2013. Performing his deep & driving tunes in more than 15 countries around Europe, Asia, North, Central & South America and of course all around Mexico, from private parties to major festivals.

His music has caught the attention of many labels since this project began thus collaborating with 21 minor and top psytrance music labels from all over the world. Having a total of 31 releases & 3 EPs and counting.

Parvati Records signed with exclusivity Third Eye of Monkey’s project in summer 2019, thus the only Mexican in the Parvati Records official roster.

Third Eye of Monkey's music is full of surprises!

Inspired strongly by his indigenous Mesoamerican roots and all the ancient tribes around the world as a tribute, he creates a unique tale with analog and organic sounds on each track giving life to every track, that will make the audience dance in trance like our ancestors did.
