'Following appearances on acclaimed labels such as Toto Chiavetta's Borders Of Light, MoBlack or Sol Selectas and having recently signed with Super Flu's Monaberry, Yamil is back on his own record label Pieces Of Life with an outstanding new EP called Himbra. Label friend Enai is also making an appearance on remix duty.

Yamil is in a momentous moment, he has been delivering high quality House and Deep House for the last couple of years, steadily forging his reputation as a DJ, Producer, Label Owner and Artist with a unique musical visioning. He also garnered heavy support from the likes of Black Coffe, Dixon, Âme or Pablo Fierro over the summer. Currently based in Madrid his personal sound travels across the globe creating special moments through his original music or dj sets. His latest releases are the best proof of it, most of them have placed themselves on the first positions of Beatport and Traxsource's Top 100 sales charts and he is amassing more than 150k listeners per month on Spotify, sitting himself as one of the most interesting artists to keep an eye on during 2022.

Himbra EP consists of two original tracks and a remix by Girona-based producer Enai. The homonymous track 'Himbra' is built upon the tension of a tight oscillating bass line which gradually increase in intensity and shifts around very subtle drum elements to leads into a flute that becomes the main element of the song at the point of peak and increase the existing energy throughout the whole journey.

Next up is 'New Dawn', a richly atmospheric track that sees Spanish producer incorporate a very heavy hit hat that leads into a dip which is characterized by an emotional piano and synthesizer's build-ups for a transcendent listening experience.

The mood of the EP changes radically with Enai's remix to 'New Dawn', driving energy and hypnotic synth lines, the producer has made the song his own, breaking down the original melodies and bringing it to a more darker and melodic techno vibe.'

John Monkman makes his debut on Noir Music and this guy has been on my radar for quite some time now due to releases on Kompakt, Crosstown Rebels and Get Physical. I got the Trusting Source track about 6 months ago and basically signed it after one listen. Since then both John and I have been road- testing, talking about the track and John has been adjusting the track to dancefloor perfection. In the process of it all I suggested John that he made a 2-tracker instead of a single release of Trusting Source. He knocked me off my feet with first listen of Lacquer which is another genius piece of music from the London-based producer.Both tracks are super groovy. Trusting Souce being the classic and timeless effort and Lacquer the more experimental and forward thinking piece.Hit play and check out this fantastic double a-side release.

With Apir we are happy to introduce a new name, but yet a familiar producer behind this moniker. Tim Green has been around for quite some time now and just released his well-received album on Cocoon Recordings last year.

While Tim Green's sound is very melodic & playful, Apir has a much more stripped back approach, focused on a certain sound and direction. We felt this was the perfect follow up to our very own 'X' EP on Siamese.

'Emphatic' has the hallmarks of a Tim Green production, but develops differently than expected. It starts very laid back and the long intro prepares for what follows - a long build to the climax that drops without the typical fanfare or white noise sounds. Tight and snappy percussion kicks in and from here on the track is rolling, putting you in a hypnotic state of mind.

On the flip we find 'Sync Assist' taking up the tempo a notch. It's a bit rougher, with a hint of electro without losing the melodic touch. Both tracks have been regulars in our sets for months now and it's great to finally share this record with all of you.

We expect to hear more about Apir aka Tim Green in the future.
