Dancefloor and/or really trippy, it is hard to categorize Hanali's music and this release is no exception. What an unexpected travel it is : sometimes dark, sometimes sunny, sometimes funny, but for sure it is always catchy and makes you want to join the ride in lost mountains of Japan !

Hanali is the solo roots Gorge project by Toki Takumi. After starting his music career in Tokyo in 2000, he shifted his focus to mountain climbing, and free climbing, but now he has been working on a new style of rhythm work with his toms. Impacted by the dynamism of the Gorge concept, he began his musical career in 2012 with the roots Gorge style. He has released a number of tracks under various names, and has also performed at live houses, clubs and outdoor events. His dynamic and tricky toms sound has contributed greatly to popularizing the value of "golfi" in Japan.
He moved to Fukuoka in 2019. Currently, his music activities are mainly online, and offline he is mostly a rock activity.

"Alarmante", an oscillating and electrified ride, carried by a dub love and a few eardrums ticklings, conveying the dance to whoever or whatever that would feel to in the merry assembly. Doing so Tresque takes distance with its original formula to turn more abstract by accumulating layers of raw pulses all from circuits in feedback (mixer, spring reverb, filter, tube preamp).

Tresque it’s the name of an almost forgotten medieval dance turned into “an idea of Techno”. Laurent Peter aka D’Incise enters the dance floor - site of the gathering - from the side, with an eye on traditions, construction of reality and fantasy, and the tension between statism and evolution.
Coming from an extended artistic career as improvisation and experimental musician, Tresque returns to his roots that lie in dub music and the sound system culture. The pulse has been growing, slowly and deeply, shaping an idea of groove by reducing it to a simpler and shorter form. In circular movements, Tresque carves his music out of samples and amplified noises using dub techniques and influenced by musique concrète.

Superimposed tinglings like two star charts laid one on top of the other - balloon in an autotune to play violence - a travel memory rescued from a hard drive and then a computer flaw - a vocal duet over a prison wall and across social galaxies for a geopolitics of the impossible - the chimera of a present without a future, all in restless suspension.

Jihem Rita, aka Johann Mazé, is a drummer and percussionist who handles voice and electronics as he can. He plays in bands with France Sauvage, Elg et la Chimie and Furax. He has also been a member of Cercle des Mallissimalistes, Lord Rectangle, Chausse Trappe, Ensemble Un, Nouvelles Impressions d'Afrique, La STPO and Brutal 10w..

Jihem Rita is Johann Mazé's solo project, also known for having extensively toured as a polyrhythmic noise drum soloist.
This upcoming album gives an insight to their tentacular explorations in textures and progressively evolving hypnotic songscapes investigated as Jihem Rita.
Johann Mazé and Èl G, having collaborated with them on this release, will also be part of Third Type Tape's double release party at Brasseries Illegaal in Brussels, the 28th of October 2023.

Release date : 28th October 2023, at Brasseries Illegaal, in Brussels.
A double-release party will celebrate the new TTT40 & TTT41 tapes during an all-night event, in which will perform: 2Mo, Abysmo, Bobé van Jézu, Debmaster, Exoterrism, Jihem Rita (feat. Èl G.), Lucie Simone, NMT, and Wash Club.

Wash Club is a new project (as of december 2022) that has quickly been adopted by the label Third Type Tapes. It is composed of Gábor Kovács (playing solo as Új Bála / @j-b-la-1) and Daniel Dariel (Csocsó / @csocso, drummer of Umarell & Zdaura among other projects and numerous collaborations). With a large room given for improvisation, Wash Club plays in a post-club translation of noise, with desynchronized machines and form-writings that differentiate within each concert.
