Richard Vission is a Grammy nominated remixer / producer and rocks dance floors and festivals around the world when he performs live as a DJ. His hit single “I Like That” featuring Luciana had incredible success on MTV and went double platinum in Australia. Richard’s remixes of Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Steve Aoki and Enrique Iglesias have found their way into many global DJ sets, as well as international broadcasts of Black Eyed Peas concerts. Richard has new releases coming out on Mixmash, Stealth and his own label, Solmatic Records. Solmatic is known for releasing top underground bangers from Avicii, Static Revenger and Nikka Costa. Richard sold over 2 million mix compilations and has consistently ranked in the TOP 30 DJs in the past ten years. With "Wasted", Richard Vission releases his first single for the Magik Muzik imprint.

Ayanna Ray is an accomplished singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and mogul. She has performed in Africa, Japan, Dubai and extensively in the United States. Ayanna’s most recent credit includes writing the title track to Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Big Happy Family” and “Po Pimpin”, with Grammy Award Winner Harold Lilly, for artist Girlfriends, which appeared in the film “In The Mix”, starring Usher. Ayanna has also performed for Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Jagged Edge and Latoya Luckett - indeed she is the “songstress" named Ayanna Ray.

Together with Ayanna Ray, Richard Vission has created a top of the line sure shot for the main rooms. The big and luscious production behind the composition gives the track an uplifting and positive feel, underlined by massive drum programming and spacious synth lines. Subtly weaving a web with a wee bit of electro house, "Wasted" will certainly rock the crowds.

To me the original was as good as it can get, after being asked by AZEDIA to do a remix how could I refuse. I wanted to take the best bits and really emphasise them in a way that was more relaxing. The feel and atmosphere was so engaging and spine tingling that I couldn't deter away from it, but rather make an attempt to magnify the feeling the original portrayed. Magical, soul-warming and powerful.

We've always loved Tame impala, not only because they're a fantastic Australian band, but because it also hints at music we listened to growing up. There is something sweetly familiar and nostalgic about the music, yet still fresh and innovative.

 "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" is really enthralling, it's like there are several different worlds inside one song.  How it feels like a simple rock song (with almost pop melodies) but with a field of colour bursts of warm layered instrumentation that re-invents itself throughout the whole song... but it wasn't until we started making our own version that we discovered how beautiful the lyrics are - another world in itself - so we decided to strip the groove back and take it into another place.
