A carreira de Kenyatta Colina começou o dia terminou de seu pai. Joseph Hill, cantor e compositor do lendário jamaicano Cultura trio vocal, desmaiou e morreu durante uma turnê da Europa de 2006.Para o espanto de promotores, fãs e críticos, Kenyatta pisou no palco e entregou performances eletrizantes. Isso era algo inédito em qualquer gênero de música a qualquer momento.Kenyatta deu tudo de si que os dois pareciam se tornar um, as vozes assustadoramente semelhantes e as vibrações inflamaram os críticos.
Na Williams Center Ranny em Kingston Jamaica no concerto memorial para seu pai, o desempenho de Kenyatta com Cultura foi o destaque de uma estrela da noite cravejada e lhe rendeu o apoio vibrante do público que é difícil de agradar em Kingston. Kenyatta passou a frente do Culture em uma série de performances em os EUA, Caribe, Brasil, Argentina e Peru, mais uma vez deixando o público surpreso e encantado.
Influenciado por elementos do dancehall, fundamentadas na tradição raízes e motivado para continuar o trabalho de seu pai, Kenyatta decidiu terminar as canções que Joseph tinha começado e criar novas músicas de sua autoria.Em sua estréia ilustre o single, "papai" (Tafari Records), apoiado por um elenco magistral de músicos, incluindo Sly Dunbar e Dean Fraser, e produzido por Lynford "Fatta" Marshall, ele enfrentou a dor emocional e incerteza que sentiu após a perda de seu pai.Ele chorou enquanto escrevia, assim como em shows na Europa choriu enquanto cantava.
O Cd foi lançado em 2007 para os fãs de longa data do grupo Culture e críticos que abraçaram o filho, nomeado para Jomo Kenyatta

Raging Fyah's "Jah Glory" is featured on their 2nd studio album, "Destiny". Released in 2014.

Raging Fyah is one of the most talented and dynamic groups ever to hit the Jamaican music scene. Divinely united in 2006, five stunning musicians- Anthony Watson, Kumar Bent, Courtland White, Demar Gayle and Delroy Hamilton – set out to rekindle a flame of positivity in the music industry.

Though their versatility enables them to play all genres of music, most of their songs - influenced by passion, purpose and life experiences- assume a roots rock reggae flavour.

They write their own songs and ensure that every word touches the soul of the listener, uplifting and motivating people from all socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. The resulting melodies have been commonly likened legendary artistes such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Third World. The band also has its own recording label, Raging Fyah Productions, which produced their debut single “Peace Reigns”, followed by “Fight” as well as other work in the pipelines for several popular reggae and dancehall artistes.
The Band is committed to changing the world, note by note, melody by melody- spreading light in areas of darkness, growing when conditions seem most bleak, demolishing obstacles without remorse; the band just keeps blazing... like a raging fyah!

Grammy nominated Raging Fyah debuts their brand new video for “Better Tomorrow” today on premier music website Relix! See here: https://relix.com/. The single will be released on Friday March 29th and will be included on their upcoming album soon to be revealed.

Raging Fyah stays true to their roots rock reggae sound with this brand-new song. “Better Tomorrow” is a lyrically powerful song that gives the message of building a bridge instead of creating a wall, serving as a literal and figurative metaphor for one love and unity. In a politically divided time, Raging Fyah shows us that coming together is the answer and division will only tear us apart.

Directed by Dubee of Upsetta, the video wanted to portray images of current events around the world and what should be done to make things better. “We wanted the video to connect to all kinds of people regardless of race, age and background,” said band member Pele. “We think the director did a good job at capturing the power of human connection,” he continued.

“Better Tomorrow” is such an important song in this political climate,” said band member Demar. “We know there is a lot to be done and we just want to do our small part by spreading the message of unity to the world,” he concluded.
