Thirty year records is proud to announce our first release from the one and only DJ Swagger (@djswaggerxxx). Simply titled “Haus Dubs” and tracks One, Two, and Three, each is a beautiful, roller of a tune with deep bass and lush top lines. The phrase “deep house” gets thrown around a lot these days but this EP backs it up with warm hugging bass and house vibes perfect for the club, the after party and on your headphones the morning after. Pump it.

Hailing from the birthplace of house in the United States' midwest, Fennec's (@fennecsound) compositions stand out from usual the sample based tracks these days. Classic but new, electronic but organic, beauty alongside grit -there are few artists in the electronic landscape able to bridge such divides and Fennec does so effortlessly, and with grace. At TYR we've been a fan since the Beloved EP (https://fennecsound.bandcamp.com/album/beloved) dropped a while back, so when we decided to start our label Fennec was one of the first we contacted. Pressure on A1 makes a grand opening statement, followed with the brooding but bumping Envy. On the B side, Damn showcases Fennecs talent for ear worm baselines, and lastly Cruise rounds it out with some sonic realness with a bit of a lean. It's been a pleasure getting to know Fennec and an honor to have this as our second release. #blackwaxbuilttolast

After several successful releases on his own @valbyrotarylabel, Louf (@louisfitton) joins TYR for our third release with the From A Distance EP. Combining elements from across the electronic spectrum, this EP has something for everyone, from the warehouse feel of Midi Love to the bucolic Quits, Louf showcases his talent to weave deep, body moving bass and beats with playful, reminiscent melodies. When this dropped in our demo box we knew we had something special and think you’ll agree. Releasing on Feb 16

Thirty Year Record’s sister label Three Point Oh third release is Criminal Practice’s Beach Party EP. Criminal Practice is a group of young producers and promoters from Kyiv, Ukraine who curate a respected mix series and throw the country’s best house and techno parties. This will be their first release with the Three Point Oh imprint and we couldn’t be more excited to get these summer, lo-fi tinged, house jams out. As with all Three Point Oh releases there will be a very limited number of dubplates cut.

Thirty Year Records sub-label Three Point Oh presents their latest V/A release with five tracks and it serves up a fascinating insight into a label eclecticism. From ravey, old-school and sci-fi leaning sounds to the fierce melancholic punch. We're premiering the track Argc from Perrin, a hypnotic techno track with an unrelenting momentum that’d go down well alongside some of Jeff Mills’ tracks. Producers here may not be the household names, but they evidently know what they’re after.

TYR number 5 is here from emerging artist GMG (@cow-cow-4). This Berlin based producer is a classically trained jazz musician and you can hear it shining through each carefully crafted composition. On the B side we start out with a top-tier remix from @D_Roots, who delivers one of the most solid grooves of the year. These tracks are like nothing we'd ever heard before; they are truly original. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
